I installed AC client off of the website , but everytime i try to play right befor it gets pass the patch loading screen pops up wit ... " The data file'client_cell_1.dat' appears to be corrupted! "... anybody know how to fix that ? lol

Un-install, re-boot, then re-install into a simple folder like C:\Games. Its suggested that if you have Vista or Win7, you will need to do this to make Decal work properly. Put everything into a C:\Games folder.

ok i did all that , and i got it where it installed with no errors popping up then I go to the launcher it uploads a quick patch, i thought would be long since i havent played this game in like 2 yrs , but was short then took me too the little blue bubbley screen and bam. " The data 'client_cell_1.dat' appears to be corrupted! " then says, Can't open the data files. check that they exist and that you have permission to write to them. the program will now exit." lol =\ there somthing else i need to install? i did the latest directx, turned off all my firewalls... anything else?

Windows 7 or Vista? Make sure you're logged in as admin and try righ clicking on the icon and 'run as administrator'.
