If I turn off decal, AC launches fine. With Decal running, I get a crash when I click to enter the game from player screen.
Any idea's? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

I just installed the newer version of Decal, 2.9.6.4, rebooted the pc, updated decal and still crashes on login.

Try uninstalling the virindi bundle and then reinstall it. It could be a problem with the Virindi View system and that should fix it. If it doesn't look on Virindi's website on how to uninstall it.
EDIT: I also just noticed your video card drivers are from 2001. You probably should update those

32 Meg Video card is probably NOT going to cut it with decal running. I believe min req to run AC and decal together is 64. Sorry to say.

That may be it. I ordered a new video card yesterday in anticipation of making this an AC machine. I have been playing an a laptop, but every now and again it just shuts off. Was in Matron last time. Can't have that happening.
This is an older machine, but has a decent processor, good enough ram(2gb), and with the updated Video Card should be fine, and much better than my laptop.
Tried to update the driver for the video card, but that IS the most current driver. Gonna check around to see if I have anything newer laying around. Will keep you posed regarding any success.

Well, dug around and pulled a 128MB card out of a dead maching. Updating drivers now, we will see how it goes. The new video card I ordered is a 1gb card.

If your laptop if overheating, you could try undervolting your processor. AC is very processor dependant for graphics.
Look up RightMark CPU Clock Utility.
