Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

It might be specific to your server. My server has been seeing some nasty lag spikes in the last few weeks.

It has been suggested that due to their on going subscriber losses they are experimenting with bandwidth cuts trying to find the minimal needed to still be playable in order to cut down on some of their overhead.

Nothing unusual here, same latency as always, but I play on EU servers though.

SWTOR: 50 Jedi Shadow (Tank), 50 Sith Marauder (Annihilation). LOTRO: Lifetime account, playing very casually. WoW: Both accounts canceled for now. GW2: Future Warrior.

now that is some funny $hit.. not suggesting that it is not true, but for them to be even experimenting with bandwidth throttling internally etc is foolhardy on their part. especially if it gets out that it is real.

Are you Canadian? Roger's, a major ISP in Canada, has been throttling WoW and causing performance issues for their customers.

I think more then one major network had issues yesterday, I don't run traceroutes unless it's something thats gotta be resolved right now, but at least my CenturyLink DSL was having issues here in Florida when I got home yesterday. Meaning WoW was virtually unplayable at the time. Fortunately a one-two combo of real life intervening and DragonAge 2 working it's magic made me forget all about WoW.
