forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Coming Back to AC...Few questions

1.) I logged back into my account; it was inactive but still there. I updated all my info and then tried to pay and it was rejected. I'm wondering if they don't accept debit cards; there is enough money to pay the subscription. I couldn't find any info in the faq on Turbine's site, any ideas on why the card was rejected?
2.) I don't have my original game box with that particular product key. I do however have one that my friend used when he played. Will I be able to install and use this copy of TOD to play with once I get resubscribed?
3.) I stopped playing in 05-06 time frame, any suggestions on what new quest to do first?

Turbine has had issues accepting debit cards in the past. If it has a visa/mastercard logo it 'should' work, but there have been reports from people that it isn't always the case. If you can log into the Turbine billing and adjust your info, at least the account is still there. I'd try a regular credit card if you have one, or you can try calling them directly. Another option that some people use that don't have or don't want to use a credit card is to buy the prepaid visa cards you see at the checkout lines in the grocery store. I believe a phone call to Turbine will resolve your issue. Sounds like you're experiencing a very popular error # 3005 or something like that. I haven't had the problem, but there are several players that have to routinely call because of this problem. I was able to enroll my debit card just fine, and it auto-renews 3 accounts each month with no issues.
