Well sadly for me, good for you, I found a easier way to do this. What took me about 6 hours to figure out, I found a .exe that does it all the hard work.
Ok, first, you will need a 8 gig microSD card. Then go download the honeycomb image at http://www.rbrune.de/nookhoney04.img.zip and also image writer at https://launchpad.net/win32-image-writer/+download These 2 files are to root and install honeycomb on your nook.
Ok now to get the market installed on honeycomb you will need these tools downloaded.

This is the easy part..
* Launch ImageWriter, browse to the location of the downloaded Honeycomb Virtual Image, select your SD card under ‘Device and click the ‘Write’ button.
* Once the image has been written to the SD card, remove it from the card reader and insert it back into your Nook Color.
That's it, put the SD card in the nook and boot up.
Now this is the part that took me about 6 hours to sort out everything from about 5 different sites, trying to piece together all the info. In going through all these sites I found the "nookcolor-easyadb.exe.
Run the Nookcolor-easyadb.exe and follow it's directions. Once you have followed it's directions open up a command prompt and type "cd C:\android-sdk-windows" (no quotes) then type "adb devices" (again no quotes) it should show your device serial number.
Once you have done this, type "cd.." this should put you at C:\, if not get to c:\ and copy and paste these commands...
adb shell mount -o remount,rw /dev/block/mmcblk1p2 /system
adb push Vending.apk system/app/Vending.apk
adb push GoogleServicesFramework.apk system/app/GoogleServicesFramework.apk
adb shell
cd system/app
chmod 6755 Vending.apk
chmod 6755 GoogleServicesFramework.apk
exit
adb reboot
Your nook will reboot and you will have the market. Remember this is a rough build, not everything works, and there will be some crashes.
Let me know if any of this doesn't make sense, or doesn't work for you, and I'll try to figure out how to get you going!

I tried to fight it and use the real adb and kept not being able to get the drivers right.
Your easy installer thing worked like a charm, then I did my own little twist and used HoneyGApps v2 instead of the apk's you provided.
It does all the coding for you and you get :
takes care of installing Market, Gmail, Google Talk, Google Maps and Contact Sync for Gmail in one easy go, without having to enter any ADB commands yourself.

Link for honeygapps makes it super easy with IVAN's easy adb and this you never have to open a command prompt or program anything.

One problem right off the back that i think I read something about somewhere.
I Downloaded the BN nook app and it would not work:
SD Card Not Detected:
This application needs an sd card o function properly. Please verify an sdcard is installed in your device and that it is not set to read-only.
I thought I skimmed something that said there is a way to partition the sd card from your OS/honeycomb to storage. I have a 16gb sd card and it's a bit of a waste if it can only run the os.
Any ideas?

From my understanding, Honeycomb does not support SD cards yet. (which is why the XOOM has a slot, but no support) and that will be coming with an OTA update for the XOOM. Not sure about "hacked" versions.

Hello,
I specifically made an account to contact you!  So I am having trouble installing market onto my nook after I have already installed honeycomb on it. I was so relieved to find your post because I have been working for about a whole day now trying to figure everything out. I am definitely not knowledgeable of any developing methods or lingo, so I'm totally lost. Though I was able to follow you, I was still unable to install market, and etc. I believe that it may be the fact that my computer is not recognizing my nook. I triple checked times 10 to make sure I followed the steps and still it's not working.
I get to the whole prompt window and enter the following steps, but nothing shows up under "List of devices attached". So I'm assuming that is where I fall from the steps. I would love some help?!
