Lucky Star is one of the best animes ever created.
I would say that even people who don't like anime in general would literally roll out of their chair laughing with every episode.

The first few episodes are a little slow, but it gets better if you can live through them. I love how they made the main character an otaku, and has her playing MMO's or talk about them:
