Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

Baltimore @ Pittsburgh
Woah, what did we as fans do to deserve a third helping treat like this? Baltimore @ Pittsburgh has been one of the most entertaining matchups the past few years. Both games were decided by a field goal and both came down to Baltimore driving for the win or tie late in the game. This truely is a tough game to predict. The Steelers are at home so that is one thing they have going in their favor. Only the '07 Jaguars have beaten Pittsburgh twice in their own stadium in the same season, I think that team will have some company. I think the Ravens are playing the best football in America right now, and I have to ride the hot team.
My Prediction: 17-13 Ravens
Green Bay @ Atlanta
Another amazing matchup. Is Ryan vs Rodgers going to turn into the NFC's version of Manning and Brady. The Packers were preseason favorites to go deep in the playoffs, but struggled early on in the season. The Falcons were preseason favorites and never disappointed. I think the Falcons are the best team in football right now, but the Packers are probably playing the best football in the NFC right now, which makes it tough to pick against them. The only question I have with the Pack is their running game; can they get a repeat performance from their running game. If so then I think without a doubt they walk out of here with a victory. Can Matt Ryan live in the moment or will he become the Peyton Manning of the NFC, great regular season only to follow up with another one and done. Falcons are almost unbeatable at home, but the dome has to benefit Rodgers more than Ryan.
My Prediction: 27-21 Packers
Seattle @ Chicago
Nothing to talk about here, Bears will dominate Seattle left and right, this one will be over by the end of the first quarter.
My prediction: 41-17 Chicago.
New York Jets @ New England Patriots
Woah, another great divisional rematch game here. The Jets are awesome to watch leading up to a game, I love their trash talk. Brady is Brady, and it is hard to make a case against him getting his fourth Superbowl Ring. New England has been a tear the past several weeks and I have a feeling it is not going to end now. The Jets barely survived Peyton Manning, while they are a good football team they are not on New Englands level. If the Jets defense can hold up against Manning and Mark Sanchez can play at a high level I can see the Jets pulling off the upset. However, if the Patriots can shut down the Jets running game and force the ball into Mark Sanchez hands, I so no way the Jets win this game.
My Prediction: 34-17 New England.

One and One today. Not a bad day. I did not think the Ravens offense would fall apart like it did, simply wow. The Steelers deserve credit here for not going into panic mode after halftime. They stayed the course and came out with a victory. The Packers looked unhuman today. They simply destroyed the Falcons. Just not a good day for birds in the NFL today. I am feeling pretty confident I will go undefeated tomorrow, I do not see much hope for the Jets and Seahawks. I think it is going to be a bad weekend for any NFL team that represents anything that flies.
