New laptop, I have gone through the posted list in the stickies and installed decal and all support networks but still having no luck for the .net frameworks I have installed v1.0 and 2.0 but its not displaying also I have looked for the d3dx9_30 but cannot find a clean download.

Current rundown is the following, also in the primary decal window non export window nothing is updated no matter how many times I attempt to try and updated. Does DHS and the filters require their own downloads these days?

You didn't follow the sticky directions, as I see that AC is installed in the default location. Install it anywhere that isn't in Program Files.

You may want to start over with EVERYTHING. If you missed that, which is pretty much the most important part of installing on a Win7 system, you probably missed other steps.

Go there, install all the files in the first post, then scroll down about 5 posts and follow the STEP-BY-STEP directions. Do it exactly how it says. In the order that it says. With no deviations.

Crap, can I simply drag my C: file into the games folder or do I need a complete wipe?
I can get into the game just fine, but decal will just not display.

As much as BC is correct about using the process for installing everything ..
- Another way to update Decal and get it going ..
Go to the folder where Decal is installed ("..\Decal 3.0") and run the "DecalUtil.exe" program. Click on the "Auto-Update (XML etc)" button. This will manually download the updates. See if that fixes that problem or report back what the error message is from that utility.

Roo, it's obvious he didn't follow the steps for a trouble free install.
If he doesn't go back and get it right the first time, we will be here for weeks every time something craps out, trouble shooting it for him.
Saves us and him time by just getting it all correct from the start.
