Digital pre-sales was indeed quite brilliant. Most gaming companies can't do this because of their prearrangement with retailers. Blizzard just does whatever they want... retailers be damned! Gotta love it sometimes, hehe.

I still bought the box. There was really nothing to download or install since it was pretty much patched in ahead of time. All we really needed was the code. But still, for $40, I needed something to remind me where my $40 went.  And I got a nice printed 12 page user manual.
And I'm $40 closer to my next Best Buy Reward Zone gift certificate.

That reminds me. For those of you who have ever watched Hoarders on A&E. I want to see a Horders show with a computer geek who has saved every piece of hardware, every box, every gadget, every floppy disk, every AOL CD, etc. I'm sure there has to be a few of those nut jobs around, considering so many of us are just a stones throw from that level of crazy already. I'm getting bored of all the cat lady hoarders.

Still have the "cartridge basic" for the old IBM PC Jr...as well as DOS 2.0 on 5-1/4's...
I also still have a working 5-1/4 drive..but I haven't hooked it up in years..(It's a seagate tho..so I'm sure it still works!!)
