How do I get Vtank/Alinco to loot rares?

Do I have to manually add the name of every rare I want to loot into alinco?

You can do partial name matches and add in crystal/pearl/etc.
For the higher tier rares you would need to add the names.
Easier to just switch to vtank looter. Use one of the loot profiles link'd in the vtank wiki and go from there with it.

i have 4 computers all running alinco3 and not a one has had a problem looting rares out of the box no changes.
so i don't totally understand the issue some folks seem to have.

It's a random thing Ag. Mine wouldn't loot rares without adding them in. Just chaulk it up to the computer gods playing a joke on people.

Can I use both vtank looter and alinco? Im guessing not, Vtank looter seems more complex to setup

Once you get one of the sample profiles and mess with it a little bit, it's really not that hard to set up new profiles.
