This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Alinco3 Questions

I am a great fan of Alinco, and used the original version for quite some time. Although there wasn't any documentation/manual, I could mostly figure out how to do what I wanted with it.
Since a recent computer upgrade I decided to use Alinco3. Again there is no manual, but this time the changes I make don't seem to take. So:
(1) Is there a way to set up the configuration for all characters on each server/account (so that I only need to do it once?)
(2) What settings are necessary to share the configuration of things like salvage profiles/spells, etc?
(3) I used to use Alinco and Alinco Buffs. Is there a version of Alinco Buffs for Alinco3? If so, where do I find it and how can I install it? (The one I thought I found seemed to have the same installer as Alinco3 - I think.)
Thank you in advance for your help. If I get Alinco3 working the way I want I won't have to become one of the crowd using Lifetank - I have resisted so far

Could you post a decal export?
Wanna see what OS you have and where you have everything installed to. Reason being once you make changes they should be saved as a universal setting, if I remember correctly. Stopped using Alinco about 3 months ago.
Also, there is a program called Virindi Tank. May want to check it out. Has a built in looter that has a lot of configurability (is that even a word?)

I tried it, but I don't think it helped?
Alinco on some of my accounts seemed unchanged afterwards, but on one account all of the text/options seemed to have dissappeared.
Perhaps a complete delete and reinstall?

Uninstall it, then go in and delete all the settings folders for it.
Could just search for Alinco on your comp and delete everything it finds.

Uldar, since you like to run multiple accounts, make sure that when you change settings in Alinco that you are only in one account. If you have more than one account logged in and you make changes to Alinco on one account, then log that account out and then log the account out that you didn't make changes on, I believe it then overwrites the changes you did make.
Also, be careful when logging in and out too quickly especially with multiple accounts. It has a tendency to wipe out the settings when you do that. Once you do have everything set, make a backup of the Alinco folder that is in your documents folder. That way if you ever do lose your settings, you can quickly get them back.
Also, did you ever find the download for Alinco Buffs? It's on the download page for Alinco, it's just a little hard to find at first glance.
