Juzams Week Two Contest!!!
|
1) Only one entry per person. (Yes I will know)
2) Entries must be at least one hour prior to kickoff for any game for it to count as a win or loss (even on Thursday or Saturday games). Entries for Monday games must be picked no later than 8pm CST on the previous Sunday. Winner is picked by total number of games won so you can enter the contest after the first game of the week has begun, just do not pick any games already in progress as they will not count. Not picking a game won't exclude you from winning, just make it that much harder.
3) Must have at least 3 contestants.
4) Tie Breaker is what you think the TOTAL score will be for the Monday Night Game for that week.
5) IF needed a second tie breaker will be the TIME STAMP of when you post your picks (or final post or edit where you choose a game). If you edit your post it will be the edited time. Additional posts on the thread for discussion purposes do not count against your time stamp tiebreaker.
6) You are responsible for making sure all of your picks show up. For example, if you choose to bold your picks and some do not get bolded your picks for those games will not count. I will *try* to let you know that you missed a pick but I cannot be responsible for them.
The Prize(s):
The winner gets to pick my colors for the week. The colors will take effect Tuesday before Noon (if winner has submitted colors by then) and last till the following Tuesday.
There will also be a VIP for 1 week if the winner's post history warrants it. That decision is made by a senior manager (not me).

Also it is impossible to score one point in the NFL. They do no have returned extra points or returned two point conversions in the NFL. As soon as the ball is turned over to the defense on an extra point or two point conversion the play is immediately blown dead. College football still allows for returned conversions, but the NFL has not for many decades.

That's correct, Juzam. I didn't want to edit when I caught it a few days later due to the time stamp thing, but I did figure that you'd make the right assumption regardless.
I think the only team capable of scoring half a point would be my Browns anyway and they ain't playing the Monday night game this week. :P
edit: and no, it is not possible to score less than 2 points in either college or NFL.

this is correct. In college a blocked kick can be run for 2 points.
The one point play I am referring to has actually never happened, but is in the rule book. It is a safety scored on an extra point attempt... If you think about all the things that would have to happen to score a safety on an extra point attempt you will see why it has never been done. But you can end a game with 1 point on the board if you were to get ridiculously lucky....
