Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

*sung in my best Hendrix voice* Please forgive any previous rants. Tonight is a tough night for me, but that is nothing compared to what my friend Joe is facing. Joe is a drummer in a band that has played up and down the east coast. He's also been Chris' instructor, and has worked wonders with him. Joe also has a special needs child of his own. Joe and I were recently inducted to a group called, "The Warriors". We were presented with a sword upon our induction. It may sound cheesy to those that don't know that it means, but for me it was the highest honor of my life. It's just not right. There are so many knuckleheads out there. Yet one of the best people I've ever met in life has been given a death sentence. I wish I was half as good a person as Joe is. rl inhales profusely. Craig

For the record, Joe has been diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer. He has also had both legs removed. Craig

Hey Ispar. Was good to see you earlier. Joe left us, sadly. It was far quicker than expected, but by the time they found it the cancer had riddled his body. Chris wrote him a letter: (forgive the spelling, it is his) Dear Joe, Thanks for teaching me drumming. I'll keep up drumming and become a professional drummer for you and im so sorry for you. and PS... i think ur the best drummer i've seen.

Alfred Lord Tennyson Crossing the Bar Sunset and evening star, And one clear call for me! And may there be no moaning of the bar, When I put out to sea, But such a tide as moving seems asleep, Too full for sound and foam, When that which drew from out the boundless deep Turns again home. Twilight and evening bell, And after that the dark! And may there be no sadness of farewell, When I embark; For tho' from out our bourne of Time and Place The flood may bear me far, I hope to see my Pilot face to face When I have crossed the bar.
