Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

And I found this recipe, and I have literally EVERYTHING on the list except for the ketchup. My question is could I sub alittle sugar for the ketchup since I think thats what the ketchup is added for?(might be the tomatoey taste too, not sure) Anyways, here is the recipe: * 18 chicken wings * 1 teaspoon kosher salt * 1 teaspoon garlic powder * 1/2 teaspoon sugar * 1/2 teaspoon paprika * 1/2 teaspoon black pepper * 1/4 teaspoon cayenne * cooking spray Sauce * 1 cup barbecue sauce, preferably Hickory Smoke Flavor * 1/2 cup honey * 2 tablespoons ketchup * 2 tablespoons hot sauce * 4 tablespoons butter * 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe/Honey-Barbecue-Chicken-Wings-185892

Ketchup is basically tomato, sugar, salt and vinegar. More than just sugar. But since it's a relatively small amount compared to the BBQ sauce anyway I personally think you could just skip it. A little sugar will take down the acidity of the other ingredients a bit.

Yeah I think ah is right. if anything Ketchup is a base component of BBQ Sauce you could probably add a little extra of that...
