I think it's safe to safe WB had no influence on the current additions to AC.
Software has cycles, planning time, implementation time, testing time. The first screenshots were shortly after the announcement of the WB buyout, so it is clear that was being worked on before the buyout ever happened.
I would expect it to be a while before WB changes, if any, show up in AC.

I'm pretty sure it's $12.95. I just don't get how an extra $2.95 would make that big of a difference. It breaks down to $.096 cents per day! And no, I have never taken lessons from Sally Struthers.

I have to agree, paying less than .50cents a day to play AC, no ones excuse can be it costs too much, unless you dont have a job, in which case you shouldnt have a computer or be paying for internet.
