[VN
Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

this is a sad situation, but it was great to see the Ump own up to it...takes a lot of class to do it. the pitcher although im sure he is dissapointed shrugged it off in a amazing sportsman like manner..big thumbs up to him...
i do believe that this moment will lead to a change in baseball. i feel that instant replay will take a role in the future. how can it not? what is wrong with getting the right call every time...i just hope that MLB implements something such as the NFL...where the replays are limited and not relied on. i still like the human aspect, it just needs a bit of a tweek...imo.

Balls and strikes remain unchanged. Safe/out is a challenge system*. Fair/foul = automatic replay. Find a way to cut the time of games elsewhere (like not allowing hitters to step out of the batters box and readjust their sh^t after every damn pitch.) and implement replay to improve the game and make it more current. * Imagine all the silly, theatrical argument crap they could remove if they just gave managers some small measure of control on really bad calls.

you know if you watch the batters...the majority just stay in and step back a bit. i would to see a pitcher throw the damn ball while they are still in the box...should be legal, and also piss them off...
