Upgraded From 8800 to gtx 260 now bad fps

So i upgraded my vid card from a 8800 gts to a geforce 260.
Cpu is q6600 @3 Ghz 2 Gb ram. running win xp 32bit
Anyway after installing the new card , i only get about half the fps in ac then before.
Before 81 FPS standing at mansion
after , same space only logged off and in again , 41 fps
All other games i tested did get a good boost.
Crysis went from avg fps 31,2 to 57,5 fps
Left4dead wenr from 69 fps to 112.
Only AC went down quite massive.
I tried different drivers but so far no luck.
anyone with same problem who solved it ?

It is quite possible that Decal View drawing is affecting your framerate more with the new card. If you really want high FPS with AC you might want to look into disabling Decal Views: http://www.virindi.net/wiki/index.php/Virindi_Views#Advanced_tweaking
If you do that, of course, you will not be able to use plugin Decal windows (Decal HUDs still work)...which will be a problem for any plugin which does not rely heavily on HUDs (for instance, AC+ and minimap will run just fine). And, of course, my Bundle plugins will work if you have VVS enabled 
Since the 'no decal view patch' is just a different .dll file, you can easily switch views on and off when you need them by copying either the original .dll or the new .dll to the decal folder. I personally have two .bat files on my desktop: one disables decal views and the other enables them.

Hmm , to bad i didn't get the numbers with the old card without decal loaded.
With the new card and no decal , im getting 130 ish frames on same spot .

Well , i kind of found a work around .
When i squish the decalbar together so it only shows 1 icon , performance goes up to 70 fps that's good enough.
