What one moment in your time on Mordred do you remember the most as being the best time you have had on the server. Maybe we can bring up some old school Mordred memories.
Could be anything from a PvE Raid, a keep Defense, a night of 8v8, whatever. Let's stir some talk up on this board.

When I was on my SB in Goth - was going up the hill and Warak was coming down so I perfed him and lag ghosted up the hill, he chased my ghost, I restealthed, he turned around, I Perfed him again, and he died. That was the most mad I'd seen someone get in a long time.
But the overall best times were running with BANDA 1.0

There was one particular day of small group fights against Dizzy that always stands out to me. Of course we got owned more often than not, but it helped us get a lot better as players to fight them repeatedly and see how good they were at doing certain things.

I'll mention a couple;
Running with MDK fighting groups like Black Dragon, Torcan when Perfected(was that his name?) made groups, fighting Houston and his guild in Emain, Validus, etc.
Meeting Chiyome and Warlogy and creating Blondiner to trio with them, in particular I remember killing XfH 8man the 3 of us and AJing Fatal Destiny and BANDA(or Validus), we got 15 deathblows out of 16.
Doing the PvE thing with Saladon, first people to exploit Erinyes Charm as far as I know. Downloading radar just to fix the stupid encounter since the CSR was useless.
Being ringer for Elysium for a couple of weeks fighting against Free RPs and Bedlam. Great players and awesome people.
Later when Mordred started to die I enjoyed mucking about with Stabbers, Desua, Gwido on Shaman, Jessx, etc.
Finally I liked playing with Shootdaheadis; the Todds, etc.

hey, soo many, but a couple stand out.
anything from the release of SI to ToA pretty much, the server was insane then.
sitting on the road by tower just south of that town in the middle of mid(cant remember the name started with an H) and some Dragon guild ported in on me all 40 - 50 going out to do some leveling I guess, well killed em all solo and screen shotted myself standing over 8 corpses.
out in hib a the end of a horse route just ganking people getting off(most were afk :P) guild group comes, 8 or so, in but staggard so i kill em, get a messege an hour later from the guild leader saying "thank everyone just quit my guild cause of you"

Hanging around Domnann with a RL friend who was on his rank 5 savage. 3 guildies port in and want to fight him. I'm in vent with the guild and tell them all they're gonna get rolled. Buddy plays a good savage and this is before the rear stun got
nerfed. They started talkin all big and low and behold all 3 proceeded to get their shyt pushed in. Savage landed all 3 run through rear stuns and tore em all up. I've never heard a vent like that before. My guildies couldn't believe it. All three were astonished, pissed AND embarrassed lol. I was grouped up with the savage and didn't do anything. I actually sat down and watched it happen. I wish I would've fraps'd it. Was one of the most epic fights I've ever seen.

Back in the first few months of Mordred (classic DAoC) we had formed Clan Forsaken and ran around with a full group of chanters with a couple clerics camping places like Camp Station and CD, places with small town that had towers in them. Before the Chanter Pet LoS nuke got nerfed. We were all like mid 30's catching groups of t50's coming in and blowing them away exploiting the LoS pet nuke haha fun times.
honorable mention: Setting up camp on bridges with this same group and bombing folks as they rode by on horses (good times)

There really is no one moment, it was more of a collective feeling tied into the moment.
The biggest thing that drew me in was the rivalries, and community where everyone knew who you were. It was our own world. Even post ToA it was decent for awhile.

BDs didn't exist when Mordred first came out. You don't need to try to prove anything, we already accepted that you were a noob blue server player that came to Mordred late after the server had already peaked.

Funny thing with Fugu, he'd type that while he was saying it in vent. And he'd type as he was in the middle of a fight to talk trash. Fugu was comic gold and I would play with him for the relief. That whole leeeeroooyy jenkins thing? Fugu impersonation all the way.
What I miss the most are the caster fights and one fight in particular was:
Chuva, Orenishi, Jessx and Runny versus 8. (Eld, Sham, Cleric, Sorc) The fight was so long that both sides FOP'd and then re-hit. We ended up killing them and Ilsunx comes back from afk and was upset he missed the fight.

i have too many that even this list pales in comparison to how many things i could write
-leveling my shaman up mostly through pvp
-forming winter with julae and others, i pretty much had leveled up through pvp 30-50 with everyone in that guild.
- killing endar(or some other high rr skald) at lvl 40 on my shaman w/ julae on his bard also being around lvl 40.
- fugu zoning out the cots portal before he died to my shaman(with 27cave) solo despite him dumping everything, of course he ended up sending me tells about how overpowered shaman were afterward
- playing with/joining banda even though it was after they fell off the top dominant guild list, i had idolized that guild for a long time so i was totally stoked when i got in
- templating out and raping solo on my champion, i was an absolute monster on that thing and i only wish i had gotten to run more groups on it
- pve adventures w/ saladon and friends
- random duos, mainly either with gunnora(despite how much controversy it managed to stir up for me, rofl) or acxion
and all the random pugs with friends
oh, and making safe fall with julae and pyth and running 4 mans and killing fgs. probably the most fun i ever had when it came to small manning

There were many "that one time on mordred" moments. But they are gone .... o well
Srq my bard that later got jacked by Phear for some reason was some of the most memorable fun since it was right before I quit for good on Mordred. Bard Valk (Leo owner of Resnarl benny's older brother) Valk (Poar) was so overpowered we would destroy groups with that setup and it was some good fun before the end...

My 2 fav memories is wrecking peregin at rr4 slash spec when he was rr7 and reliced, i was in all epic too hahaha.
And me and wombo were running from a radaring 8 man with speed 6 and he disbands and mezzes me and they break my mezz and chase after him and kill him, i laughed SO HARD, he was so mad.
Good times. Most of the ss's were just some memories nothing special.

MdK vs Trickstar 10 minute fight.
Drusn, Wock and me killing fg Sin Vida in Cots, i finally got kiled by that shaman Walfred?. He promised to release the video but he never did 
The hib loop euro time with MDK and at the night USA pugs with FD,Wrath and random friends i had and we pugged.
Putapulga,Tevasa and me trio'ing on DF and small grp PVP.
Blubie invasion and lots of fight.
Profanity camping in volcanus port in raping them up to that isle (cant remember name lol).
And my last video on mord, i quit after that last fight against Free Rps, we had a very nice FG pug, lots of good players on ventrillo and the only no english speaking leadering grp lol.
I also remember Camlann, because me and few spanish friends rolled there an small caster group (Zagat,Tevasa,etc) and we did very well fighting outnumbered, i played a healer tri-spec healer and had lots of fun.
The last time i played daoc was like 1 year ago in Eden freeshard server, was fun but RL stuff takes all my time.

My favorite memory happened shortly after the whole Blue Server invasion... I had just gotten maddening scalers and was out lvling them up on the liches. On my way back in, I ran into a whole zerg (13-14) of bluebies porting out... lvl 40-50 or so. I threw down an aoe dot and (just happened to have been messing w/ negative maelstorm before it got the graphic) dropped down maelstorm and proceeded to wipe out all of them. It dinged my scalers to 10 too

Was funny when u were at PK and BANDA 6 man went in there cause it was next to dead and you ended up killing someone in our group. I was there and like oh a necro, ok ill just afk, next thing I know u are getting someone low hp, I tried to heal but couldn't and I was like WTF lol, I didn't know then that necro had that QQ dot.. Was pretty funny though. Think it was Me on Clersmite, Liss on her Zerk or Sav, Dasha on her Bard, Ampz on his Sav and I forget the other 2. Think u dropped Ampz. lawlz I know I was the only healer tho besides Dasha.

Yet, oddly, we faced the largest raids on our keep the server has ever seen. And had to do it against attacking AOEs.
What was the largest attack Torcan (or any guild you try to claim credit for) ever faced with attacking AOEs? 20? 30?
Need to see the raids against us with 90 attacking, with AOE, when our guild was smaller then Torcan when it mattered?
I love it when players who sucked if they werent ganking people 8v3 attack the #1 guild on the server.

For a player who was pretty much nobody, you have a big mouth. Especially when you talk to the #1 Guild on the server.
I would love to see a screenshot of Torcan facing anything even close to what we did in SV in defense of the relics. Seriously you got one?

As for Legends 'dying', they had 150m RPs or so after they lost the relics. How much did Torcan have ever? Not that much more then after Legends 'died', what a joke.
And before you try to spin another yarn. Torcan didnt die, it collapsed because it sucked. First, one of your GMs fled to TTS (do you even know what that acronym is?). Then another had crap account security and let his access go to someone who didnt like Torcan.
Ooops.
So Torcan was compromised. And what did those tough guys do? All those guys who loved Torcan?
Rally around the flag? Form another guild called Torcan2, or even more cleverly Torcantoo?
Nah they were so weak and crap they just wandered around the server, found they sucked outside of a zerg, got ganked and cried their way off the server.
The last I heard of Torcan Daamien tried to resurrect it. Was a good effort, think it lasted 2 weeks.
So lets see your screenshot of Torcan fighting anything close to what SV fought.
Dont let the door spank your tuckus too hard when you run away.

the only formidable person from Sin Vida was a reaver and his name i've forgotten.
holding relics after the server is dead is no feat.
also Syndicate ran in torcan 8 man group often in the prime of 8v8 on mordred.
i also remember when Torcan had all relics and legends teamed with many guilds just to storm the keep. also insert off hours keep ninja tactics
the logic that legends could even be good at 8v8 with all relics is very hilarious.

The only group Sin Vida fielded that was decent was ran by Kration, who, IIRC, screened the bad SV from joining his group. I don't know/remember why, but I'll assume it's under the pretense that you guys were free realm points and that he knew his group would be/was successful without the relics.
Whatever the reason, his group left Sin Vida and created a top tier group within that time frame. Honestly, some of the best times I had in DAoC was fighting his group, about a year up to the point I joined the Navy. Tagged Sin Vida or not his group was one of the more memorable moments I had in the game.
It was Kration, Orenishi and myself who did a 3v3 against your co-GM, Nexussix. Each group was a void eld, body sorc and his group had a druid+ML2 perfecter (why would that matter, Kawaja?) and ours had a ML0 shaman. I think all our group had over his was endurance regeneration, I don't know if that time in the game if people used regen pots. I'm sure they did and they'd be stupid if they didn't use them. So really, they had DI, extra pet, heals, pr, cure ns over us.
On top of that, relics were very much in play during these fights, heals, nukes 30% more effective. You can see that when you look at the HP bars when nearly getting two bolted every so often.
It would be fun to play with the following again, either with or against: Runney, Ilsun, Fanta, Jessx, Orenishi, Rodhette, Blondiner, Kration, Kozzoloz, Gaitheurg, Zalera, Fixxed, Minded, Gaiaonline, Tobytaxi, Paul, Xvim, Qiez, lars, dunlinde, marco, spinaltap, Kvg, pasty puffs crew so on and so fourth.
These people in one way or another I've either played with, against or both. Was a small community but in essence the fights were always there and always fun. And for the most part people didn't give up after a loss, most of the times fight the same group upwards in the double digits every night, and the next fight would be 5 minutes later, unless switching up the group build.
It was during that time period, Kawaja, that you felt like you were superior to other groups. The core of the good players/groups were off in their own little world in their own community constantly setting up fights amongst themselves, not caring about SV or relics. Sin Vida groups never dared to even stay in the same zone. The groups that formed up and attacked your keep didn't comprise of these names and if they were out there, they were in it for the realm points.
So, really, what did you really accomplish? Other than most time spent in a loading screen, of course.

As for Legends 'dying', they had 150m RPs or so after they lost the relics. How much did Torcan have ever? Not that much more then after Legends 'died', what a joke.
And before you try to spin another yarn. Torcan didnt die, it collapsed because it sucked. First, one of your GMs fled to TTS (do you even know what that acronym is?). Then another had crap account security and let his access go to someone who didnt like Torcan.
Ooops.
So Torcan was compromised. And what did those tough guys do? All those guys who loved Torcan?
Rally around the flag? Form another guild called Torcan2, or even more cleverly Torcantoo?
Nah they were so weak and crap they just wandered around the server, found they sucked outside of a zerg, got ganked and cried their way off the server.
The last I heard of Torcan Daamien tried to resurrect it. Was a good effort, think it lasted 2 weeks.
So lets see your screenshot of Torcan fighting anything close to what SV fought.
Dont let the door spank your tuckus too hard when you run away.

Best Mordred memories - zerging it up with shadowclan when they had over 100 online at a time. The blue zerg of DUUM baby....
Soloing on my druid was always a blast, I found the solo community on Mordred had some of the nicest players at the time.
Great 8v8 with lots of different groups and guilds....
Our small man flying around blowing up fgs (lots of 6 relic SV groups died 4v8 ) and the one time we killed off a 60+ count bg with 5 (took an hour and a half if I remember, lots of SV died too of course :P ).
But mostly I remember the QQ's.

The only time Chuva group'd vs group'd was if/when he had a set group, it had to be perfect.
The only time Chuva would EVER 1v1 someone was ...... well, he never would lol.
Bottom line is Chuva had to have an edge before he would commit to a fight, he could not afford to lose. I am sure he will return here with oh how much better he is than me, but facts remain every fight he and I had no matter group or solo he lost vs me /shrug
Chuva used to be a pretty decent person, hell I used to run with him back in the days lol. He musta had a bad sexual experience or something because he went from hot to cold in a flash.

Sniping ppl at boars/basiliks and those human camps out near stone hedge when the server first came out. Playing a sorc when the server first came out...back when they were considered horribly gimp.
Making koddo day 1 of andred and leveling him up on pvp, a lot in df.
The endless kite wars I would have as a solo bard in lyonesse vs exp groups, whered they get so mad they'd eventually all log onto real chars and chase me around for hours.
Making pasty puffs and playing with a small group of people who were laid back and never took things too seriously....who would put up with my endless kiting and what other groups would call "my wierd playing". We weren't the best but we could put up a decent fight vs groups which 80% of the time had a better setup
Finding koniwicca and experiencing his split personality.
Killing many more people than I thought possible solo....and when dunlinde and I would kite groups for a half an hour and eventually kill them
Running around randomly mezzing people/groups
Sniping on the top of TNN with gwido's original ranger and my ranger.

Beating kreations to mezz without instas and making him angry
Goth loops <3

the logic that legends could even be good at 8v8 with all relics is very hilarious.

Metan and Metanis were both clerics of mine. Metan was my first but it was banned/terminated/suspended due to a banking issue with Leo/Benny.
The 'drama' with my sorc really wasn't drama. Reneg played it for a few weeks over the summer while I was still deciding what to do, quitting, selling or continue playing. After my holidays I decided to return and Reneg gave me back the account. There was no bad blood between us that I know of although he was probably a little unhappy about not being able to buy it. If I recall however, the guild quit not too long after with Reneg going to Galahad and raping it up so it all worked out in the end.
That's the cliff notes.
My other character(s) of note were Ruthia(healer) and Blondinen(merc).

when i was with Anathema or Anathema return lol we had the most epic fight againts HoA in Prid keep was alot of fun, endar, fightmaster( bd not sure on name). was also another guild who would come and play with us overthere cant remember their name tho right now
in df me and my rl friend 30ish healer/sm , we had like 6ish level 40ish Shadowclan zone in on us at entrance, they said " pay tributez or we clump" cant remember shadowclan language but anyway i open trade window put some gold in there while casting mez, then stun and my friend took em all down with pbae. they hunt us down for like 30min afterward lol
i bought naapi the minstrel and had alot of epic fight. i could kill full guild group solo from different gimpguild like damage inc, dragon legion, not sure on name. had some epic solo fight aswell really enjoy playing that toon.
toa loop was also fun when the population was around 800 900 ish with a 4man or 8man group depending on action.fighting dizzy was alot of fun, we were pretty much even at the end they even made one of their guy play a theurgist cause ours was pissing them off lol but yeah when pop slowly down to 400 the toa loop pretty much died
edit: yeah magmartigan that warrior was a real beast, on my minstrel in a 1vs1 againts him i think i only won 2 or 3 time and i had to use everything, ip2 purge3 zephyr SoS, battler buff/shade of mist. fought him alot in spindel and mid side df

I have way too many memories of Mordred to even start...
Alright, Just after SI, joining the game on my mighty enchantress Eugeni and pvping my way in Mag Mel and Old Frontiers roaming around and trying to do something with it! Reaching level 50 after Sooooooooooo much time pvping! Camping that magmel tower and spamming PBAOE was maybe the most fun I had!
-Permanent duels against Warlogy, that Bonemaster that camped DF, finding random farmers in emain, joining Legends thanks to Fang!
-My bot Miona... Best bot EVER!
-Epic moments going towards that town that the Kobold guild owned and wouldn't let anyone get into! Joining them aswell...
-Running my ToA first ML raids without decent success!
-Rolling Jessx and doing so many things. Harassing MdK to get into that guild and managing it! Before being booted twice and banned for life!
-Buying i don't know how many respec stones from the teleporter merchant in TNN right after a patch.
-Getting my main account banned thanks to Couz exploiting in NF to farm mobs and powerlevel.
-Exploiting the hell of that Avalon thing on the wall and farming like hell before being banned 14 days! (during the time gwido would camp that frigging dungeon 24/7, I'm suspicious btw!)
-Ahh, the good times and the drama... Stabbers stealing shit from me, getting my account scammed at first because I was new to mordred and thought it would be legit!
-Playing and joining the most stupid and fun guild: Allstars. I can't even remember the number of players I have met and played with...
-Small group times, playing or playing against with Blondinen, Desuax, Stabbers, Ugder, MdK, Runney, Gwido, Wrath, Ilsun, Chuva, playing with Frode was wicked aswell.
I just can't name them all its been so long, just a wicked adventure!

Leveling up to 50 through pvp.
Getting golden spear, then moving from Japan to the United States and unable to play for weeks, coming back and getting blown up by pre patch warlocks.
Fighting my first pre patched vampiir wondering what the **** just happened.
Ganking grays with Kadul
Learning how to PvE with Sal/Marco/Bruce/Stevie/etc and all the other cool people, you all know who you were. Getting my animists was the ultimate pve powertrip ever.
Discovering how to VN.
Competing with all the other awesome stealthers on the server, and eventually playing with/against them. (Ugder/Gwido/Qiez, ganking full groups of PTC with you guys was some of the most fun I've had playing my Inf)
Being taught how to group PvP with Mike/RL Sal. I became such a good healer because that fat fgt nerd raged on me all the time so hard for not pre healing. I remember the first time we killed a group of BANDA I was nerdgasming. It wasn't officially BANDA but it had a few big names, I remember pre-kiting ampz like a god.
Becoming an elitist teenager(lol) at the end of the server after many good players had already left, and the server had more or less died of competition.
Rolling what was left of the server for a few months before I finally left, playing with really good buds like Enternum/Qiez/Blondiner/Suppers/Grum/Chris(before he raged out)
There were to many good times, I missed slinned's QQing. I miss secretly wanting to always play with Zalera/Fixxed. I miss the PVP, the fact that if you were good you were good, and if you were shit you were shit. The small community which has dissolved entirely was always nice, by the end of the server everyone knew everyone.
Huge shame that it will never be the same.

logging in for my first time on mordred and moving to goth to level up from scratch with hundreds of lowbies running around chaoticly killing each other in the castle up the hill....
that was favorite memory..
and killing 7 legends guild members in mid si with my low rr untempt skald and a healer....

For the rest.
Having been #1 IRS on the server, in 3 different classes, I decided I would take the relics.
I did.
For 2 years.
While successfully fighting off the biggest AOE attacks the server has ever seen.
I see a lot of crying above, but not alot of screenshots.
In fact?
None. All those posts crying, and not a single screenshot showing more then a big mouth.

People will remember Sin Vida as that guild that couldnt win (PvP) even with relics. If you liked so much to take keeps or take/defend relics you should know, you played in the wrong server for a looong time.
So no ones cares. One of the worst guilds (PvP) in the history of the server.
I did respect other massive guilds as Torcan or Legends just because they could make a decent group to PvP in a PvP server.

A long time ago I was in DF on the Warden and I was attacked by a 2 minstrel stealth FG. Right off the bat, one of them stunned me, zephyred me AND phase shifted at the same time. After like 10 minutes I had killed 5 or 6 of them and the others wilsoned.
This was pre-warden god mode too, no shield spec, no in combat hots, no celerity, etc. (and I didn't have BM styles, good old fashioned Blunt spec ftw). Must have been shortly after catacombs release because I remember it was my first PvP encounter after coming back from quitting for the first time. That was also around the time I started hanging in Praise's vent day and night.

There are really too many great memories, many of them i shared really just by myself..
To this day I have never made cooler friends or had better enemies that what this server provided...
This server and its community had a great way of keeping tabs on player history and basically who was who ect..ect..
It was a place where you really earned the right to talk or say what you thought whether or not others thought you were right or wrong, you belonged to Mordred and once you had proved yourself here both friends and enemies became like a fun, crazy, mixed up extended family always poking at each other...in good fun
If you didn't belong on Mordred it was pretty evident early on..
I still believe that in its first 3 years or so that Mordred had a hardier breed of players than any other server and there really was a lot of respect given between players even if it didn't always play out on the boards that way.
Anyways...it was a lot of fun... Merry Christmas Guys!!!

Going really good bro...I heard you were working up at Progress or something from Tim Lawson ,...hope all thats working out, they are a pretty big company.
Life is pretty awsome right now for me personally in many ways....started brewing my own beer which is super fun and very drinkable, recently wrote a 100k word fantasy novel, stopped smoking about 10 months ago after 15 years9(feeling great), work in a place that has a full Gym facility inside the building...just a lot of goal setting and seeing some good results from it...
Hows married life going, hopefully all good?(Kids?) You still playing guitar? You still in town?

tons of memories. old frontier keep fights were definatly fun in mordred. or when legends would horde all the relics and had the worst players possible and couldnt run an 8man for the life of them.

Just looked at this forum on a whim, decided to chime in.
My favorite moments were the epic keep defenses with Divinity, most notably the one right after a dragon raid which ended with a guildy logging off with all of the new respec stones, and owning cookie cutter groups with our caster teams including Saladon, Datachild, Phylis, Guapo, and others. Farming that one bug town in SI where every mob dropped a named weapon. Getting rich by farming the epic SI dungeons, and clearing half of it just before some guild decided to start a raid.
Leveling when the server first came out, when pvp was about resolving conflicts, not mindless ganking to get those RP's.
I credit every bit of fun and success I had on mordred to chilling with Saladon, Illyanna and Groove in their /cg, definitely the coolest, people I've met on this game.

I remember supergroover and I would always tell each other about new bugs we found out about.
like I remember when I discovered that if you put an artifact on by dragging an item you are wearing on top of one in your bag, it didn't reset the item use timer, so I could use stone of atlantis instant root sticks all the time, while using a different gem that didn't suck. or when I discovered using /faceloc while stunned so people couldn't land positionals.
I loved hiding in the walls outside north tnn also, and waiting with chiyome to mez a fg while they were buffing and killing all them/forcing the rest to run back into tnn, and have to port someplace else cause we there lol.
haha gotta admit it was funny hearing blunted on vent going "I got lag over here guys, behind this wall, 3 lags"
or using pre-nerf battler on my armsman hitting for cap dmg every swing.
probably forgetting some... oh right gotta love those holes that zone you out, like in CM/spind, or using that one on hib df stairs that took you next to the legion room, used to farm that stuff with damenz CHOCOLATEZOMBIEBOMBS, made some mad plat borrowing that necro from thoke.
I also miss my mastery of arcane 5 cleric buffbot shakwanika
oh and using the old mentalist rr5 sever the tether, that had no timer, that was right when chanters were everywhere too. I remember a trio of sm/cab/chanter, forget the names, but when they saw my kill spam they'd release their pets lol.
anyone else have fond memories of bugs/exploits on mordred?

Well, I played a long time..since day one andred..then moved to mord with transfer. Me and spainkenya/oldertandirt/pantalon/wireless/fumrehtea...I never really did much 8v8..I did a lot of soloing and duo's..tower camping,goth camping, pretty much anything to get rps with my toons. Running my with chanter/cleric..Cutbacks/laclya and beat a fair amount of med to full groups with old BOF and moc on cleric. Farming DF a ton..Farming ac a ton..Making a ton of RL money pl'en people in ac. Gwido harssaing the hell out of me, hating SV..then joining SV to lvl my warloc to rr9 in like 2 weeks with all the relics. Perfing caters and killing them in fg when they were runinng through cots..lol...Killing ocak over and over in his 8 man before they kill me on my loc..learning how to acutally 8 man on my eld during dizzys days of killing fg's with their 3-4 man...shrooming up horse routes..lol.botting my champ and had prob the most fun ever...anyhow no other game will compare to mordred..Ever.

probably when my friar in final chapter (Imgonnaa EatADonut) i was the first person to get tartaro's on dred, atleast from what i know...
