Game error-Direct3d/DirectX

The game encoutnered a fatal DirectX issue while attempting to start. Try a different screen resolution or bit depth. If that doesn't work, try new video drivers.
I get one before that that says Direct3d something or other. Only happens when I exit the world. I've had it happen both when am running ACDC and just one client by itself. It doesn't happen all the time either, just occasionally. I have DirectX 11 so it can't be that unless the game just doesn't recognize that version.

i have HEARD, not an expert so i can not confirm, but that NOT all things in Direct 10, 11 are backwards compatiable with 9.
so if you have something old written for 9 (decal some plugins) they may not work completely/properly if they using outdated no longer supported calls/methods in 10/11.
thus the recommendation is even though you have 11 installed, go back and also install 9.
But please ask around confirm this, it's what i've read and i not expert enough to confirm this!

Direct X 10/11 are not completely compatible with some Direct X 9 Games. (Especially older ones)

Only when logging out?
Try disabling pimpfilter and darksidefilter and see if that changes anything.
Also try disabling FOG.

yes. And it's when ACDC is running, not decal. So this seems to be an ACDC issue rather than Decal at this point.
