opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least

signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

I'm having a hard time getting decal to work

I haven't played in like 5 years, all the links I can find that actually still work are from like 2006 and aren't really helping me...I'm not even sure if I have everything installed
It seems like the decal server is crashed right now too, so I don't know if that might be why
When I try to update decal it says 'A file being updated is in use - close programs and try again.'

what OS?
my guess since it doesn't seem to want to update is that you have vista or win7 AND installed to the default c:\program files direcotry. A real no no problem with those OSs

ya its windows 7, i read about the program files thing and i uninstalled ac and moved it there, tried to do the same with decal but i cant specify where i want to download it so i just moved it...still having problems but at least everything isnt a red X when i load decal now, got a couple black check marks now

that was it, i went back and reinstalled decal and figured out how to change its install location this time and it seemed to fix it
