Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

150 bucks for a 53" projection Sony
yeah I know its a $150 dollar projection tv but I was tired of my 27"
Got him home and the picture is a little foggy, enough to annoy me. It seemed fine when I went to the house to pick it up.
Does anyone know how to clear up the picture on these TVs? Could it have been damaged on the 20 mile trek home? Is something out of alignment?
One guy told me the lens might have dust that settled on them and to clean it with a static free cloth, another guy said to use some compressed air to clean them. I've heard the compressed air idea is a no-no.
Any insight on this?

If I remember correctly most of those needed some kind of alignment after being moved around a lot.

how is it foggy? does it look like the first pic in this link? http://empegbbs.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/271945?PHPSESSID=zydbfcjc If so, it might be something you can adjust yourself.
