This or when I'm separating them so I don't accidentally get yolks in the whites. Silver

eh, sometimes if i want to mix, or to slip in to water to poach, or separate, or just making sure there isn't a bad one. if im just frying an egg, its pretty doubtful i will do that.

i crack em seperate because i usually remove the yolks and toss em. also i like to remove all the white stringy stuff around the yoke, and all the little globs of stuff in the liquid. sometimes theres these reddish brown tiny specs i have no idea what they are, but i don't want to eat em.

what is the nutritional value of this chalaze?
when i was a kid i remember my mom was cracking eggs and there was like a chicken fetus inside one egg. i could make out a head with the eyes/beak...it was all bloody. very gross, and i have no idea how that happened since supposedly the eggs are supposed to be all unfertilized right?
