Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

A hell of a week for DVD releases. The Hurt Locker was great, but obviously everybody has heard of that already. But if you haven't heard of these other two, you definitely need to see them. Moon is a really, really small movie, but it gets the most out of everything. The most out of its budget. The most out of its main actor. The most out of its plot developments... I hesitate to call them twists, the story unfolds in ways that feel surprising, even if you're not surprised, if that makes sense. Talking about it would just spoil things. A real sci-fi movie, for once. In the Loop might be the funniest movie this year. The dialogue is so amazingly caustic. Come for the cursing, stay for the political satire.

I agree Moon was a good flick. Hadn't heard of the other one though... I'll have to check it out.
