Are there any tutorials on making decal plugins?

Im in search of them, id like to give it a whirl and see if i can learn to make some simple plugins...
Or if anyone has time and can show me the ropes or possibly make a plugin for me please feel free to Private Message me.

If you know how to program in c#, it's not too difficult to figure out. I looked at the source for a couple programs and got the basics down..
