Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

Hi guys, i have a working decal and some plugins just fine. Installed VMT this morning, and it also works fine, apart from the fact that it will not remember any settings I give it. It wont remember transparency or HUD location settings It wont remember lists of names of items etc that i key in there appears to be no save button and there is no .ini file where its installed that i might edit. anyone got any thoughts? thanks, Erensin

C:\Program Files\VMT
There is an ini and several .mdb files which are MSSQL database files. You can probably look at them with MS Access or several different 3rd party SQL programs. I have not looked at these files (or the ini for that matter) so I don't know if this will help. Post was basically to tell you where VMT installs its filesystem. If yours aren't there, you might try a re-install. If on vista, run the installer as administrator, and I don't remember for sure, but if the VMT installer allows you to choose a different install path, get it out of Program Files (again if under vista).

Are you running Vista? If so, did you install it to a directory other than the default? Perhaps it doesn't have the permissions to write to your directory.
