Terminator-Salvation or Star Trek?

Both previews looked extremly hardcore good, I can't wait. Been so long since decent sci-fi movies been out.......think ID4 and Stargate in mid 90's was last time there was decent sci-fi at the same time. I'm hoping that neither has all the good scences in the trailers and the rest of the movie stinks. Which you look forward towards more? Personally, I've been hoping for a good story of the machine war since the original terminator.

I'm looking forward to both, but I suppose I've been anticipating Terminator more. I dunno if I've watched all Star Trek movies, but I definitely have seen all of the ones that have come out since I can remember.

whoa, I'm in the same boat as lexi. I haven't watched a ton of Star Trek, but JJ Abrams = <3. Terminator has just gotten worse and worse, I really wanted to like Sarah Connor Chronicles but it was just bad.

I can't imagine seeing Spock and Kirk without Nimoy and Shatner. Loved the original never had much use for the other follow-ups. Will wait until it makes it to HBO....

Nerds at my work are fighting over PIcard and Kirk all day.
I'm on the Picard side cuz I liked those movies better, I liked the one where the robots took over his little shippy. That was a good movie.
As for cloverfield I loved it, and I am excited they are continuing the storyline for a sequel. A movie like that has promise, I'm a big fan of apocalyptical movies like Knowing and the upcoming best zombie movie: World War Z (after the best book in the world imo).
I think it'll be good.

Star Trek is really good. All of the characters are portrayed well by all of the actors.

Star Trek was awesome. Saw it in the IMAX @ Jordans furniture. Yes, its a furniture store with an IMAX theater, Fudruckers, Richardsons ice cream, trapeze swings, and water show inside of it. The theater also has Tempurpedic (tm) seats and a subwoofer under every single seat in the theater so you feel the bass - they call them "butt kickers". There are only two of its kind (Natick and Reading in MA), or so they claim.

haven't seen Terminator yet, but heard good things, in spite of the last Terminator movie. Star Trek was fantastic... Yeah, I know, shocker coming from me, but I really like what JJ did with it, and I definitely see potential future movies in the "new" Trek universe.
