im a noob and i created this moving gif: however, as you can see the animation is jerky at one point which makes the whole thing look like crap. how do i get it so the loop is smooth, so it looks like one continuous motion?

ikkoikki posted: the loop isnt aesthetically pleasing. but i dont know how to fix it to make it smoother
Run it halfway then just run it back. Dupe frames in reverse order. It'll be perfectly smooth.

Make it up to the point his hand is close, then duplicate the second last frame, then the one before that, sticking each new one on the end. It would depend on the sotware you're using but duplicating and moving frames around should be pretty basic features.

I'm sorry i just don't understand the mechanics of it, and neither can i find an option to even do such a thing in my software. I'm using GIMP, what do you use?

Photoshop. I don't ever do any big animation though, just a few frames at most so it's a different deal than what you're trying.
