It was on the Safeway(grocery store chain for anyone that doesn't know) website. I got to looking at the different recipes and found some of them to be great!! I'm not sure if what surprised me more was actually finding recipes on the site, I mean it does make sense, or just the sheer number of recipes they have. They're probably a good 3-4k at least from main courses to desserts to appetizers to drinks etc etc. They also have them very nicely catalogued into different sections that includes 15 minute and 30 minute meals! Anyway here is the link!

Cool....Publix has something like that, too. They always have recipe cards in the store, along with someone cooking something to entice you to buy specific food items found in the recipes.

Safeway is very much like Publix, Lyn. They have the cook displays and the recipe cards. grin

Thanks for the links. I was looking for a piece of software to put all my recipes into and ran across this one http://bigoven.com/ You can sign up and get recipes there or if you own the software, it connects you to their website through their interface. It was only $29.95 and comes with a ton of recipes built in and the ability to import any recipe from their site. I'm really enjoying it since I now have a kitchen computer (Christmas gift).

Why did you have to post this?

I've been trying to justify a laptop for a year now.

Whoops, sorry blush

It was justified for me. My desktop PC is all the way downstairs and the only laptop I have is provided by work. I needed a place to organize all those paper recipes that are threatening to fall out of the drawer of the living room buffet. Also, the kitchen PC is on a shelf under the cabinets out of the way with a plastic covered rollup keyboard so I don't spill on it and ruin anything.
