This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive. ~

Subject:Question about Teeth!
Hey, n00b question i know - but! How long after baby teeth fall out do permanant ones take to grow? My son has both (top) from teeth out 1 bottom one (nfi what they called, not the front 2, one to the side) The first one fell out in June, 2nd in about August and 3rd around Sept/October. He says he can feel the front ones growing through, but hes been saying that for months. Oh, hes 7 1/2

My youngest is 21 so it's been awhile, but I think it takes awhile for them to come in. I remember lots of toothless pictures. heh
A dentist visit would probably answer your question. Quick x-ray and they will see where they are.

Subject:Question about Teeth!
It really depends. We pulled my daughters first tooth when we saw the permanent tooth growing in behind it. It was already loose so I helped it along.
She lost the tooth right beside it a week or so later but it took a couple months for the permanent one to pop through. Her next 2 teeth probably took 2-4 weeks to come in.
She lost one the day after Christmas and it popped through a few days later.
I do know some adults who lost their baby teeth but there were no permanent teeth underneath. Also, it's possible for teeth to grow sideways--that is fairly common with widsom teeth but it can happen with other teeth.
At his next dentist visit they will probably take xrays and you can ask then. If he doesn't go to a dentist regularly, I suggest at least a baseline visit to check him out.
