opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

I assume I did something wrong because decal shows all red x's
Have vista 32 bit.
I do not have 1.1 but have 2.0 distributable - should I download 1.1?
maybe I should just reinstall.
what is the order to install decal?

no still not working but I didn't sub the game yet nor get the updated client so that must be the issue. Waiting a few days so I am subbed on 100th patch on 26th but in case delayed I better wait a few days.

Decal requires the messages.xml and memlocs.xml to match the current version of AC you have installed; since you haven't updated AC itself, you're going to get red X's. It'll probably be fine once you download the latest version of AC from Turbine.
