Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

Ok, I only post this because of the wife, lol.
Over the 4th holiday we were going to drink Waborita's as we had just bought some of the Cabo Wabo to try out.
I had gone out and bought about 6 limes thinking that would be enough. I could not have been more wrong Long story short, it takes about a lime and a half to get 2 ounces for the drink. So I sent the wife up to the store (with the knowledge roughly of the ratio of the limes) to pick up some more for the drinks...
She came back with, I kid you not, 30 limes, lol. We ended up making 2 more drinks LOTS of limes leftover and I needed something to do w/ them. After some thought, Limeade
7 Limes
1 1/2 C Sugar
3 QT's (96 ounces) water
Roll the limes first to break them up a bit. Cut them in half in the middle (not lengthwise). Squeeze out the juice into a separate bowl (if you enjoy pulp in your juice, then disregard this part).
Filter the juice through a fine strainer into a pitcher (I had pulp and seeds I tossed).
Add the water and sugar and stir it up. I had several people try this and said it needed more lime, more sugar...more water...etc....
I think it depends on the person. But most who tried it really liked it.
So yeah...if you ever have 30+ limes at your ready.....
you now have something to do w/ them
