Boards Archive] |
Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.
Please enjoy the archive.

always post a decal export. It helps people see exactly whats on your system rather than guessing what you have installed.

I believe they are having problems installing decal so no way they can post an export.

you only get that error when decal is installed and you try to start AC.

thanks,,,i kept having problems yes but got it sorted now
for any future reference what occurred was the net framework program ended up corrupting which in turn controlled in some way the decal file service.
normal uninstalling was not enough, net frameworks a whole lot differently than that,,,,started in on deleting a whole list of suggested windows registry programs but in reading about all this found a small uninstall zip file to wipe the system of any and all references to net framework. Did that,,,held my breath as you then need to install versions 1 on up to get it back onto your system.
In the end thats what had happened,,,netframework holds the keys to this decal file service,,,once I had that back, decal reinstalled along with all plugins I wanted. Was back using decal last night just fine.
