Welcome to the Vault Network forum archive.

This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least 20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per page).

Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50 topics per page, while others deemed of historical signifigance may be archived in their entirety.

We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in lieu of that.

I swear im the only person that has a problem with updating it....



I got home from work checked here to make sure the new memlocs were up before i pressed update and they were i press update but it's still red x's what em I doing wrong?

Got mine working... i tried to get decal working before i downloaded the AC patch. After i DLed it everything was fine

If you have issues updating decal from the configure window, use the seperate Decal Utilities program in the install folder to update.

Ive also tried that magglett no good....


Maybe my computer has something blocking the full update or something because this happens to me every patch then somehow i get somone to send me all the files and it works lol.... No clue what fixes it sad

question.... I use Draikers dual login for three accounts..... Do i have to update the patch on all 3 before updating decal or just 1 ?



updated all 3 and tried didnt work sad

This happens every month, usually as a result of ISP's caching the files, which means update won't work for a few days.

I've posted the memlocs on my web site here:
http://www.flynn1179.me.uk/ac/downloads/memlocs_May2007.zip
You need to save the contents of this archive into your Decal install folder (c:/Program Files/Decal 3.0/ for me, for example), overwriting the files that are there.

NB: This archive isn't supported by the Decal devs, use at your own risk.

EDIT: I should also clarify- I've no idea if this will work, although I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't.

The answer is yes. The easiest way to do it is update the first account, then use the copy files button to update the second and third AC install directories (with the client not running). That keeps the DL's down to a mininum and is faster as well. The button for this is on the third tab towards the bottom of the tab, it brings up another box, you'll need to put a checkmark in the unchecked boxes and point ACDC at the correct secondary install directory, repeat for each directory you wish to use.
