Mule Trade-It issue

Heya,
I have been trying to add allegiance discounts to my bot. For some reason I cannot get any allegiance discount to work. All individual discounts work great.
I have reloaded both Decal and Mule Trade-It. I have reached the end of my fix-it knowledge. Any ideas?

allegiance discounts work with one exception that i've seen.
you add the allegiance monarch's name and the allegiance setting. then everyone in the allegiance except the monarch gets the discount. you have to add the monarch again as an individual for s/he to get a discount.

100% individual discounts are no longer working for me (the bot wants all the cash), but I've only tried on chars who are in my allegiance...which has a 20% discount.

I have tried using the monarch's name and the allegiance discount. I spent about 30 minutes trying different variations of name, name and title, clan name, varying discount amounts......nothing worked for me.
I used two different people to check the discounts, both times it worked when I added their names as individuals.
I am clueless
