forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Looking for a mapping program to replace ACTracker

Howdy.
I'm an old school player who is returning to Dereth after a long absence.
When last I played AC, I used "AC Tracker". I liked AC tracker for the simple reason that it wasn't a spoiler app. Sure, it started with a pre-seeded list of many locations in Dereth, but I could blank the data file, start with a completely pristine map of Dereth, and then add things as I ran across them. It appealed to my sense of exploration.
Now that I'm returning to AC, I find that my old reliable, AC Tracker, no longer works. It doesn't seem to recognize when AC is running, so I can't use it anymore. So I'm looking for a replacement.
I don't run Decal, and never have. Nothing against the program or those who use it, just not something I'm personally interested in using. So if there's a mapping utility out there that's stand-alone, like AC Tracker was, that would be preferable. If my only options are to use a Decal-based mapping utility, welp, I'll probably bite the bullet and install Decal. But if it's possible to avoid it, that would be swell.
And, obviously, I'm looking for something that either starts with a pristine map of Dereth and lets you add your own features to it, or which can be blanked by the user to provide such a pristine map, etc.
Any assistance in this regard would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
