Hung curtains in the bedroom, and touched up some paint as well. I have more curtains to hang in the front sitting room, living room, and dining room too!

Isn't it nice to get projects around the house done? It just feels so good! happy

So what are you all up to in your homes/gardens?

Good for you!

I've been putting off a 2-hour project for a year now. How's that? wink I need to put trim around the doorway that leads to the basement. One board needs to be cut to length (I have a very nice power miter saw), the inside framing pieces (about 4" wide) need to be sanded (bought a spiffy random orbit sander just for this task!) so my wife can stain or varnish them (they're oak), then I need to nail them up. I have a nailgun. We're talking a trivial job here!

Maybe this weekend, if it's nice...But I hate sanding. tongue

I managed to piss off one of my professors in school today, because she was wrong about the topography of New England after the last Ice Age.

We put up a new climbing rose arbor and moved one of the climbing roses out of the shade. We need to put together a cedar log deck swing but have to wait for the insurance adjustor to assess the hail damage to our house first.

When he's done, we'll be hiring out to re-roof and re-side the house.

Wahhhhh...I'm back teaching school, so my time is shot. I got lots of my list whittled down from the summer, but this next weekend consists of roasting/freezing our bumper crop of tomatoes, planting bulbs for next spring...and hopefully just lazing and catching up on some netflix stuff. dancing

I do have to give kudos though to the hubby unit. Tonight I came home (he's self-employed and worked at home today) and he had put up my much needed/wanted shelves in the laundry room! We have this year old house and there's much work to do inside and out! Tomorrow's our anniversary, and he surprised me w/ getting them up!

Yeah! A place for my soap (oh the small joys in life! hehe) hugs

Esty

This time of year I start getting the itch to get so much accomplished. Most of the time, there's just not enough hours in the day.

This weekend I would like to get some bulbs planted and the bed around the mailbox defined using pavers. Tonight I need to move the lawn. It's almost to the bailing stage because we have been getting so much rain and no opportunity to mow.
