I've rebuilt LifeTank X for Decal Alpha 7, with some VB help from Paraduck. We've been testing this new build for a few days now, and for a good bit today to make sure the memlocs are working with it well.
Oh, and the HUDs work again =)
So, I'll go ahead and cut to the chase, here's the link

If you have any questions or requests, lemme know on that board or a PM. I'll see what I can do, but right now I'm just shooting to be a maintainer... keep it running with Decal updates, maybe make a few small improvements here and there.

Thanks everyone, I hope it's been working out good for you so far =)
The donation thing... thats never crossed our minds. We did this just to see if we could do it... SpK and Xeon did all the hard work, I'm just trying to keep it alive.
So, we really do appreciate the thoughts though. We still haven't decided if we want to do the donation thing though... but if a bunch of people insist on it, well *shrug*.
But, for now... we verymuch appreciate the thought, I'm thrilled someone would even suggest it.

One should not take a plugin that has had its source available to the public, modify that source and not release those modifications while continuing to distribute the compiled version....
IMHO It reeks of
a) opportunism, and

nothing is saying anyone has to release the source unless Spk specified that when he made the source public.
and not releasing source doesn't mean anything other than they may not want their changes released.
I don't release source code for anything I do generally.. because my code is mine. It's not that I have anything to hide, or plan on exploiting people for it.. I just don't have a valid reason to, and I personally like to keep some things to myself.

JetMage, Make sure you're using Decal 2.9.5.0 Alpha 7, and your Memlocs say 2741. When either one of these are different, that's the only time I've seen it say "No surrogate".

Uninstalled Decal, then LTx. DL'ed and Installed new version for both, no glitch what so ever Ran smoothly and I can even recruit now (for some reason, I could not before (fairly recent occurance) but it went thru the motions) The HUDs are working MUCH better but I still see a lot of moving around... Stats, profile, and DOT HUD (inventory HUD, only other HUD i have open seems fine, tho it's in a nice spot so never moved it) seems to want to be on specific spots even when you lock HUD positions. Tried this 3 times last nite and said forget it. As long as they dont end up on top of each other

So glad it's working Problem I have though is I cant relocate the Hud... yes it's unlocked.
Wouldnt be adverse to moving it by hand if someone could point me to where the coords are stored.

If it's too far to the left in the window it won't allow it. Try leaving a 1-2 inch gap between the hud and the left side of the screen... 
It also should update hud position.

We are aware that it is somewhat difficult to move the hud, but it is not impossible! That is on my list to make it easier to move the hud, but right now...make sure the macro is running, it can be paused, but must be ON. Make sure the HUD is unlocked and click/drag on the RED text of the hud you want to drag. Might take a few tries, but after you get it moved where you want, lock it back. To make sure it remembers your new place, you need to log out correctly for LTxi to save it's settings.
Now, the loot thing I have not had a problem with. I've been told that if you have waypoints that you run back and forth between it doesn't work WELL, but it'll still try to pick something up. That's in the works to be fixed too. But not looting at all? You got me on that one. If the "Enable Looting" is checked, and you have it set to look for something to loot.. it should loot. If there are any monsters within your attack range or danger zone, it won't loot though.

When moving the hud click the title of the hud and hold... don't release it or try to drag for about 5 seconds... while still holding.. then try to drag the hud... but still dont let go... Then release. It should drop it and put the coords of hud in the chat window.
One of my computers has this issue. Just had to take it slower. MUCH.

I had stated earlier that we had a start date of the 20th. (Does that not give you a timeline of how long it's going to take?)
Maybe your post is mis-informed and your only comprehending what you want to at this point.
I offered to help C'relic to produce an even better product.
It's sorta like Cable internet low speed tier, and Cable internet high speed tier...
WE are adding more features to our product, we are the high speed tier . C'relic and the others are only making some minor updates and feature additions... the low speed teir.
They are both the same product. Atm ... Lifetank XI is high speed, because it's product has had immeadiate delivery...
But as sooon as we release a working version.. Guessing by July 1-4 somewhere... It will probably have more features and work faster than the existing Lifetank XI.
We have requested his source code which he claims is readily available to anyone who requests it, to speed our product.
We will be renaming it though.
I have a domain setup for Lifetank... @ http://www.lifetank.net if you think I am not really serious about this. It currently leads to our site on Legion Of Fury.
Anyhow I don't need to defend or explain myself to anyone right now. Nice opinion but really unfactual.

I have told C'relic of my intensions and ideas on Lifetank... He may envoke some of those ideas such as ALES/STOUT support and also a enhanced selling feature which does more than convert peas/mmds over.
I congratulate him on his product. Mine will also have this. This is the main reason we decided to ask if he wanted to combine efforts to make a more effective product. Although we have some differences in ideas, we both have 1 thing in mind. Keeping lifetank alive.
I do thank Paraduck/C'relic for their work. It is a great thing and may continue to be.
Nothing wrong with 2 flavors of ice cream.
EDIT: And there will be no charge. I will have my own private version, and also a public version.
Of course the private version WILL have ALOT more features in it. (Won't go into details on that.)

LifeTank is similar to ElTank. It is an Assisted or Attented Combat Macro. Once configured it will help you fight, stay healed, keep your fellowship healed (if required), loot and salvage for you.

Can we be honest here and call an apple and apple and say this is a plugin for Combat Macroing, with emphasis on UNattended.. because that's what most people use it for, otherwise, it wouldn't need half of the features it has. (even the website said so)

Btw... Lifetank xR development has begun. It's official.
Be ready for a release date very shortly.
It will have the following features:
1. It will work with Decal 3.
(NO THANKS FROM C'RELIC ON THIS ONE, we gotta do it the hard way.Really stupid imho we have too. Remember THAT when you donate to him.)
2. Ales/Stout support during buff cycle.
3. Recall to destination before logout on low comps.
The rest of the features will be slowly added in.
4. Won't cost a penny. Donation's won't even be expected or offered. We decided that $$ was not the answer in all this.
5. A private version with ALOT more features will be worked on during the making of this version.

Go spam up someone else's thread. I'm sorry I wasn't about to give up our work on this plugin to you, just so you could slap your name on it and get away with it. If you're so brilliant, you can figure it out yourself. Good luck on writing your Unattended GAME Macro. Have a frickin' blast.
Oh, and very mature of you to use the same name too... that's nice.
Drakier, we all know people use it for UCM.. but my whole reasoning for wanting to do this was to challenge myself, I wanted to see if I could pull it off. I, personally, don't use it for that. *shrug* I've been considering disabling a few of these features.. but I'm not real sure yet.
And for everyone else Blub didn't scare away with his tactics... expect an update soon. We've fixed the HUD (moving, displaying, more stats), made changes to the way ID outputs text (Imbues on melee weapons anyone?), NAV System updates (waypoints + looting = working!)

Thanks, I kinda figured it's like ElTank. Are there any differences between the two, or something one does better than the other?

I am a huge fan that LTx has buff profiles. Instead of having to select what spells to cast every time. It can have multiple profiles preset.
When I am hunting in EO. I load my EO profiles. For the Bobo quest I have a Bobo profile. Etc.

Hi! Sorry for "rezing" this thread but for some reasons I get a blank page when I try to login on the new "official LT forums". I could register fine but maybe it's not liking my IE7 beta client when I login :P
I just dropped by to say Im glad there still are people maintaining and using LT. I've been out of the loop for a while now, but I come back here every once in a while to see how things are going in the AC world. It's amazing this game is still up and running - It's quite a fantastic game really.
So how's the ElTank vs LifeTank war going? :P Is Elgar still around? I miss the old bloke hehe.
Anyway, keep up the good work guys! And props to Xeon, Crelic and Paraduck for taking care of LT. I'd just have a favor to ask: could anyone keep me informed if someone is using the LT sources to make profits? Because I've made it clear any product derived from the original LT sources I released a while ago must remain free.
EDIT: just fixed my LT XI forum problem :P

Some dude was going to take the source and charge for it... he basically got ran out of AC with his ass on fire.
We don't charge for it (of course) nor even accept donations for it. The only thing we have are ads on the site that (hopefully) our fans are clicking on to help pay for the bandwidth consumption =)

I think its a cookie/cache problem. I was having the same issue the other night, so was para. Just delete your Temporary internet files and your cookies and try again.

About the whole source code thing...if your savvy ebnough to understand what you are looking at to begin with, then you should be able to deco,mpile and see for yourself. I can't think of any of these plugins devs that have done a buttload of work for FREE who have ever put anything malicious into any plugin, ever.
There have been a few faux plugins around...but those have always new developers and new plugins. Those are the ones to be wary of.
