I ran the decal registry cleaner and reinstalled everything, but still the same problem. I did notice a couple other posts with a similar problem, but I didn't see any solutions that helped me. (Note: Although the IT! plugins are installed, I don't run them when I run Eltank. happy )

I have tried it with ElTank turned off, as well as Tings turned off...same result.
Thanks for having a look. I appreciate the help.

SOUNDS like the ole attempting to log in the new/next char too quickly bug.

a decal problem in that decal from the first char hasn't completely shut down/released ownership of files by the time the new decal in charge for the second char is attempting to open said files.

pause a few seconds between the closing of one and the opening of the next, AND IF THAT is the problem you are having (yours could be something else altogether) the number of crashs you are having should be reduced significantly.

Thank you for the suggestion, however, I am crashing on logging out a character, before the toon is even out completely. I don't get the chance to try to log in a new toon. This happens every single time.

well agentZ is up to .016 not .015, and alcio is up to .2 not .1

then there is the question about updating some datafiles in the targetinfo directory that was released today.

other then that i can't say as i don't have a lot of the stuff you have installed, installed.

next would be to remove all and then start reloading one at time till you run into problems then that plugin would be the pirmary suspect of part of the problem (as it could be interference with something else and not it all alone).

That's a common problem, it seems to stem from decal using a LOT of video memory. It happens to me a couple times a day if I'm switching chars a lot. Everyone I know gets it to some extent. With some people it's very occasional, with some it's very often. The only hope for a real "fix" is the release of a new and improved version of Decal. You can help minimize the problem though by trying to run as few plugins at one time as possible, especially the larger, more complex ones with large GUI's. You've got got 6 plugins running. Try to get by with 2-3 and see if that cuts down on crashes.

Most likely ELTank. There is a bug (somewhere) with an empty GUI setting causing a crash on logout (saving). I can reproduce it, but havn't had the time to find exactly which control is causing it.

I can reduce (but not completely eliminate) the crashing upon changing toons if I wait about 10 seconds after logging out before attempting to bring in the next character.

I notice you are running Tings. This happens to me every time I log out (out, not in as with the regular bug) if I have that one enabled. Try turning it off and see if that is the problem.
