keep getting the error message
11:04:39 <{ Quest Timer }> Error #5 occurred in tm_Timeout: Invalid procedure call or argument @ line 374 [v2.4.0.2]
Just wondering if there is some quick fix for this or something. None of the quests are showing up either when I log in. I just keep getting repeatedly spammed with that
From what I understand this is finals week for some/most of the decal devs so really not looking for a fix or anything now just whenever someone can get around to it or if there is already a fix out could point me to it. Thanks!

Make sure you have the latest version of messages for decal. Might try uninstalling and reinstalling the plugin too. My Quest Timer is working ok ...

My Decal is updated and working; and I *believe* that I have the latest version of the plug-in (2.4.2?) but I am getting the same error.
If it's finals no problem; but I *love* this plug-in and will be very happy once there is a fix

Could you post an export?
Also - Decal devs: the line that's causing the error has nothing to do with network protocol. It's setting the value of a list cell to a string.
QuestsList.Data(colQuest.cTimeLeft, i) = GetTimeLeft(i)
That's: List.Data(int, int) = string
The error isn't occuring within GetTimeLeft, or it would have been reported from within that function.

My Quest timer is not working either, there is no Available Quest shown, Automaticaly donload quest infro at login is checked, and when i try to click on Check Now, Upload Now , or Download Now , i get the Server did not respond error [v2.4.0.2]
any idea?

I have the same error too,I logout and login several times and it works again, but if I logout, the problem might come back.
I suspect it is Decal problem because whenever Quest timer is not working, Lifetank cannot find my spell book and cannot rebuff too.

also if somebody does one of the kings quest timer automatically sets the timer for all 6 kings...even if only did one.

i havent had any trouble since tod came out and timer was fixed up. except the 5 minutes after i log on thing about it not finding the server and cant dl new quests. the internet part tab, has some quests on it, but honestly, its working, not for new quests, and im a bit afraid that if i try to dl or do anything, i will bust it.
and im terrible at handwritten timers.
i always lose the paper

Foxy, try reinstalling MSXML 4.
HardSide, did that just start happening this patch? Are you using timers you made yourself or that you got through the internet tab? Looking at the timers available on the internet tab, it shouldn't be possible for that to happen unless there's either a bug in the code or the protocol changes did something funky.

i removed the old one (mswhatever thingy) and dl'd the new msi and installed it and i had 52 quests to dl on log in

Could you post the quest definitions you're using for all of the quests that get triggered at once?
Open quests.xml (in the Quest Timer folder) using notepad or some other text editor.
Look for the quest definitions for the quests. They'll look like this:
<Quest QuestName="Burun Kings - Broodu" Days="21" Hours="0" Minutes="0" Text="Guard Hamdyn tells you, "This is for your efforts against the Burun Kukuur, King Broodu.*" Item="" Chest="" Droppable="False"/>
Also, could you post what you think is triggering it? E.g., if text were triggering it, the text would appear in the chat window just after the "Quest timer started" message.
