Default AC:TOD install.
latest decal-alpha6.msi
running goarrow and alnico
Framerate is fine with just the decal minibar up but whenever I click to bring a plugin window up the framerate drops a ton. Any ideas? Is this a common thing? I just came back to AC and I never had this issue with decal before. I remember decal 2 having a transparency setting that would drop my framerate just like this but I am not running this decal 3 alpha with any transparency setting.
any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the plugin isn't Opaque (partial transparency), that may be causing lag.

No way to get around it. The hack that makes the old rendering system work causes a frame hit.

Try in game AC video options..unckeck Sync with Framerate
