Not for gems but for the unfound weapon and armor rares which people are hoping to find. My opinion is that El and LifeX have not been configured correctly to locate/id/find them. Can anyone check this out pls?

when you find these items, it says you found a rare
when you find a rare, it auto adds to the pickup list

I know nothing....Just seems to me that not 1 of these found becuase somehow not identified - since Majority who use these programs on auto pilot - they must be missing them.

there have been rares found and eltank does see them perfectly
as always the best plug in !!!

ELTank doesn't use name matches for rares. If it's a Rare it WILL see it.

I wonder if that is why some of the rares aren't being found...the majority of 24/7 people are using lifetank due to it not having an inactivity timeout on it like Eltank. If they rely on name only, they will never pick up the rare drops that are not in the profile.

If it is not named Rare how can they have it found? Does anyone actually know the ''names'' of these Super rares or they just a fairy tale?

once a rare is discovered a message is shown, that message is prolly used to pick them up later on.
what is the issue here now exactly, you don't believe eltank and lifetank are working right because so little higher tier rares have been found? even when elgarl says eltank works fine for them?

Tiviee never listens to anyone, especially the people who actually wrote/write the plugins.
ALL objects that exist in the game world have certain flags to indicate what they are and their properties. One of those properties indicates that it's a rare item, and ALL items have this data sent from teh AC servers.
Objects DWORD property 0x11 = Rare ID
This is a four byte property that tells what type of rare it is. ELTank doesn't care what type of rare it is, it just triggers on ANY rare. This means that it will even find the rares if your client never gets the 'discovery' message (lag can cause the message to not be displayed). ELTank won't miss a rare. If you can see it in game then ELTank will see it too.

ElgarL is right. I found the Gelidite Pauldrons last night in Fiuns, and tank ID it right away. Gelidite pauldrons were an unknown rare until then.

helloooo mcfly. all rares is just that. known or not armor,weapon or gem,all of them and it is not because most on auto pilot although they should be. it is because not enough monsters have died.el finds and picks up all rares and no need to config or do anything except have traking on,

As the guy who found and sent in the rare flag so it could be added to the network documentation, I can safely say that LifeTank will loot rares.
In fact, as soon as it detects a corpse with a rare on it, it will priority loot that corpse, even if there are critters still around
