I've been seeing messages about RoboChief and TinkIt. So to just add to the confusion 
I decided to let ppl know where to find a plugin I put togeather that has similiar features.
Tings

Features:
Chief ( think robochief,tinkit)
Lotsa Formulas and will tell u max u can make.
Will also tell u what item u ran out of.
Will list items used for a given formula.
Will list formulas needed to make an item.
Uber ( provides addional info about item u id.)
Simplistic Friends utility to help migrate to Friends Panel.
I'm like way not done with this.
Stack Button only stacks selected item and settings are not kept between IG sessions.
Not all formulas tested.
Under Options tab some things are not implemented:
Until ( not used but I internally calculate this)
VIA Pot partially implemented.
Via Magic seems to work.
I do know Kit and rest is working.
You must Enable Chief before using.
You must Enable Uber to get it to work.

Well since TOD was released and decal had new life breathed into it.
I been listening to ppl say what they missed...
I miss/want this thing

So Tings has a little of this ting and a little of that ting.
( ok ok truth was most ppl want Buff Bot. Best i could do was turn Cerelius loose in holtburg. )

3/1/06 : Added Favorites.
Just find item u want to make and then use "Add Fav".
Use "Del Fav" to remove.
U can then just use Fav: pull down and select

FYI,
I'm aware that some (2) ppl have a "Crash AC Client" when they click to enable Chief.
On the Good side, Tings seems to be working for others.
Hopefully I can work with someone who has this issue to sneak up on the cause.

Should not have to use Stack button. It been auto stacking.
But,...I made some changes which improves the auto stacking of item your making.
The Stack button was more or less for stacking anything u have in inventory.
Just select it and hit Stack.
But.... That button has wander off to the inventory Tab. New button will takes its place
"Add Q"
Anywho New version is out.
Recent Change History:
3/2/06: Made changes to see if it helps
ppl who are crashing when they click on Chief Enable.
Improved Stacking of item your making.
'Add Q' Button allows u to queue up multiple items to make. ( I need to work on report progress for this.)
Basically pick and item put in Qty and click on "Add Q". Repeat as needed then Hit "Make"
Note: Tings does not check to see if u can make all that u put into the queue. If it runs out of something it will proceed to next item in queue.
Qty now shows number of items made while its working.

Nice plug in but it seems as if you made it to work only on a US keyboard. When making Trade Mana Elixirs and recharging with spells it won't come out of casting mode for me.  Also, why does it have an enable button? If I didn't want it to work I wouldn't open it. Why is it called Chief when it is a Chef plug in? What does the Uber button do?
Other than that I have no complaints. Best ting since Robochef.

Got a new version of Tings for you to try.
Let me know if it comes out of casting mode now.
Why Enable button? Several reasons but my favorite reason
is if you trying running with it Enabled. I ran with my over BU low
level tink toon to get comps and kept laying down to recover.
Sorta be really bad in combat.
Its Called Tings cause it does other tings besides Chief type tings.
What does Uber do? Well it provides some info on items you ID.
I wrote this part awhile back to augment BS/2 or lol just to confuse myself.
It is geared more to finding Majors and providing me with info to grade Casters and Weapons.

Well after really be made to look at the messages. I need to clean it up a bit. Some of the info
is for debuging. doh.
Sample 1 shows what happens on a MAJOR.
Sampe 2 ( alas I need to clean this up a bit. ) Tell's me there is a Damage Bonus on caster and how much. 1.0499 means to me its 5. ( like i said i need to clean this up.)
Sample 3 throws '*' to let me know it hit my settings for an Uber item.
Now to discuss what all those numbers,letter and '()' are about.
Using Sample 3.
Gold Electric Bow(6): Item name and is work 6
Grade% 26.1 : My rating (i.e. Grade) based on type of item and Max known value for that item type.
DM% 15.4(15.4) : Damage Modifier Grade %
MeD% 73.3(126.7) :Melee Defense Grade %
MaD% 00(0) :Magic Defense Grade %
MC% 00(80) :Mana C Grade %
Damage 20(20) : Damage
MeD 11(19) : Melee Defense (what u see when u ID ie "Bonus to Melee Defense 11%)
MaD 0(0) :Magic Defense
Mc 0(8):Mana C
And what does the stuff in the '( )' mean? Well it suppose to represent
the Max number assuming u tink only it.
Since someone gonna ask me why it did the * for this item.
Last time i tweak this code i was looking for anything that had Damage Bonus.

Thanks for the explanation and I will try out the new version later. What would be really cool is if this plugin worked solely for Trade skilled characters. Some of the features are already in other plugins - lets face it who does not run 'Find It' or 'ElTank'. They can do what they do better than 'Tings' will and those features just aren't required in 'Tings'.
It does the 'Chef' thing very well, almost as good as the original - which I believe we will never see again.
What is required now is a full tinkering feature. There used to be a good tinkering plugin (forget the name). Now if you could combine that with the excellent trade skill features you have in there now, I believe you might have a (what you people call) kickass plugin.

Just tested the new version. Now it doesn't go into cast mode or come out. The problem may be that the combat key is not in the same place on a US keyboard as it is on a non US keyboard. Other developers have got around that, no idea how though.

Thanks for all the work you put into this mrFlipo.  I've been putting my bow toon on hold waiting for robo chif and she has some nice armor and weapons now so I wanted to let her play again 
I had a hard time installing it and getting the recipes to show up in game. After getting the files in the right places (I think lol) It was fine but a read me file for us newbes would have been helpful

Make sure u have World Object Filter and Character Stats Filter Checked in Decal.
If they are checked then may have to think about clean install of Decal.

Tried this this weekend and
Made wrapped deadlies. Seemed a tad slower than Make It. I couldnt find the stack option and I think this was what caused the slight slowness (it stacked each made item every time instead of waiting for a set amount like Make it)
Tried to make THEs. I couldnt make it work with already having mid step ingredients. It kept looking for the potion pea when I already had pre-made health infusions.

THE is Health Infusions and Potion of Healing. So if it needed to
make Potion of healing it would run to Realgar Pea level if needed.
Let me know exactly what your Mid step ingredients are, and i can test.

I prefer the stacking immediantly as I rarely have alot of pack space and if waited til end i couldnt set it to make like 100 at a time. Just my 2 pyreals.

I knew there was a method to my madness.
My low level arrow making toon is more of a mule, so 2 slots open is
the rule. Hence reason I do stack immediately.
The key info is the feedback that it seems tad slow. Which
does not surprise me as I've made no real efforts to
speed it up[ don't ya hate it when r/l forces you to prioritize and
here we thought it IG time.]. As often as I make stuff, speed was not the highest concern to me.
Getting it to work was enough. Making it easy to use by
a brain dead me was next.
Course whats fun is to try to unstack something you
just finished making. Silly Tings restacks it on ya.
I can live with hitting Abort button or turning tings off
on that rare occasion I try to unstack till i get around
to fixing that.
Other fun thing to do is forget you have Chef ( gee i spell better) on and
run your over BU mule to cragstone for more comps...
gee why do i fall down when i'm running..
Future of Tings:
I'm keeping a watchfull eye on the
crashing on exit issue. Last release seems to have
totally clear it up for me and any PC within reach of me.
[Still happening to at least one person I know.]
Not sure what the next tweak will be to Tings.
I did speed Tings up a bit. btw.
Do i get back onto the Uber report info and make it more bs/2 ish?
Do i get back onto more Inventory stuff?
Do i give options on sorting pack stuff.
Iny meany miny moe...curly and larry have such big toes..

I haven't used this yet, but a general comment is Robochef seemed to have no speed issues while being able to stack stuff as it made it.

Getting faster speeds in crafting, while still being reliable, is reasonably difficult with Decal. I spent quite a few hours working on that area of the code because one of my annoyances with other crafting macros and plugins I had used was the speed.

It will use the Health Draughts. What I think is the issue is that
based on Ingrediants you have it is not enough to make THE. Victual stuff
is needed and is what you do not have prebuilt.
So hard question is... given the same stuff you had, Can u manually create a THE?
What steps do you do manually take to make THE from what you listed?

Yes sir. I can make em manually or with Make It. Problem I have with make it is that it won't rest and just spam B when it's out of stamina
Manual Steps from start to finish (NOTE: I did most of these in Bulk MANually as at the time, I did not even use Make It yet, so now everytime I make THE, I am in the "mid step" of the process)
Alembic + VItriol pea = Conc Health Infusion
Conc Health Infusion + Eyedrop = Health infusions (50)
Health Infusion + Health Potion (NPC bought) = THE
As mentioned previously, I have a TON of Conc HI since I bought 100 peas, and about 300 Health Potions (NPC). Atm, maybe around 20 health infusions.
I'm not making thse for trade, and money's never been an issue so I didnt see the point of trying to make everything from scratch (so no use what so ever for making victual infusion). Technically, Realgar/Victual is not needed to make THE and I've never used it.

Yes sorry. I was going by memory earlier. I do have Health Draughts as well, but I am not using them (I bought them thinking that's what I needed without using Realgar before).
Regardless, I do have Health Potions as well and use them with Health Infusion to make THEs. It could it be that Tings is finding the Draught so is trying to go from there?
Will re-DL tings tonite and run and post what message it gives.

Sorry took forever to re-run. It was the draught that was messing it up. once I dropped the draughts, it was able to make em from Hlt infusion + hlt potion.

I click on Make.
and....
"Using the Health Infusions with the Potions of Healing
You brew a Trade Health Elixir."
So having Health Draught did not cause me a problem.
So i'm gonna chalk this issue up as a spookie.
Let me know if you have it happen again and have
a thought on what is going on.

am not able to get this plugin to work. I followed the install instructions and it does sho up in decal but has no recipes. what mite i be doing wrong.

Well....
I have a feeling that there's something wrong with my install now lol
I tried running Tings shortly after my last post. Ran out of health potions. Log out of mule, log on to another char to buy some. Drop mule on mansion, log back to mule. Start Tings... "You need Vitriol pea" message again.... No Draughts this time. Tried to do a manual THE, BOOM. AC Crash.
Restarted comp, and got onAC again with Tings (no other decal stuff running), and same thing BOOM to desktop.
Will try to re-install Tings some time later and see.

Sry to hear u having problems.
When u say "manual" do u mean your using Chef's Step button or
you yourself are making via clicks?
Step button is kewl for learning how to make items btw.
One step at time give ppl time to read the steps.

Manual = no use of Decal.
It was weird too but it double clicking infusion was ok, it was when I clicked the health potion that keeps crashing me. Unfortunately, i did not have a lot of time to investigate further

Well on the bright side if it blew IG with no Decal running
then it can't be Tings.
But i wonder... This week I've had some spookies with dbl click blowing me out of game.
I was dbl clicking on Mansion Door and it blew me out of game. It didn't seem to be plugin related. I had
different plugins loaded so no common factor except AC and Decal wonder if servers have issue. I didn't investage it enough but i do recall would happen when i switched toons.

No no... sorry I am not saying it right lol
When I tried to manual with Decal/Tings on was when I go Boom to desktop
I have NO problems going manual with no 3rd party app running
I also have NO problem going manual with Decal+LTx on (same with FindIt)
Not saying it's Tings itself. I might just have not installed everything properly as I do seem to have had issues with it esp when it coms to THE, tho no issues with making arrows (other than previously stated slowness)

Well sounds like uninstall and then a reinstall of decal is in order.
So far things u have mentioned I have not been able to duplicate.
Tings builds THE correctly based on what is in inventory.
Speed issue I've been told it is fast as it should be.
Next time it goes boom. Stop and pm me with Debug info.
In "\Program Files\Flipo\" you will see files which begin with "DebugTings".
ie DebugTings20060503.txt
PM a few to me. ( Make sure u send the current one. Which will be one with most recent date time stamp on it. )
Also Export your Decal and PM that one.
Lets see if that sheds some light on the issue.
