Example: I have 100 Chorizite Oils in my pack, already made. I also have 100 Neutral Balms. I tell MakeIt to make 10 Condensed Dispel Potions, which should need only 40 oils.

With "Do not make ingredients" checked, I get this message: "Cannot make Condensed Dispel Potion...missing Condensed Chorizite Oil"

If I UNcheck "Do not make ingredients", I get this message: "Cannot make Chorizite...missing Ground Chorizite"

Don't understand why this is happening, especially when it followed right after it completed a batch of 125 Condensed Dispel Potions, which I also ran with the Chorizite Oils already made up ...

I can make them manually, without buying or obtaining anything. What's going on here?

Any ideas? Happens fairly regularly but not every time, so I am wondering what I am overlooking.

If you pass things to the character, sometimes Makeit! does not pick them up in my experience. Log off and back on fixes it for me.

What is this neat feature of MakeIt! that now has me squelched across the server, and nearly banned? Quality programming here.

Patiently waiting for RoboChef...i.e., driving a white Honda with one blue fender while my Chevelle SS is in the shop.

From the readme that comes up as part of the install (and is also in the install directory) and is also included on the download page:

Version 5.9.4 for Decal Alpha 4!
Added support for Chorozite potions. NOTE: If you have premade a stack of Chorozite Oil, you will need to split that into two stacks before running Make It!, as it will not automatically split stacks. If you have NOT premade the Chorozite Oil, Make It! will make the oil as required so no extra steps are needed.

That should have come up approximately once every two minutes, so I'm not sure how it has gotten you squelched as that is nowhere NEAR often enough to cause the auto squelch timer to cut in. It was the default emote (lie down) used to prevent logout. With chat changes, it no longer emoted so I removed it and replaced it with the logout timer in recent versions of Make It! And yes, it was quality programming at the time, because a) it prevented you from logging out while making items, and b) was configurable to use any emote that you wanted it to use.

Decal is in Alpha, we're fixing bugs and making changes to plug-ins to handle the new environment. Rather than make everybody wait while I rewrite everything from scratch, I decided to release early versions that did MOST of what needed to be done so that people could start using the plugins immediately. I also release fixes as they become available, and you should update to a more current version of Make It! that does not have that problem.

You will be happy to know I have learned my lesson. RoboChef which hasn't even been released gets lots of praise while software that has actually been released and is working for hundreds of people gets scorn. In the future I will simply talk about the software I might release someday instead of actually releasing something, that way I can appease the idiots who can't tell the difference between software and vaporware.

I'd rather not have shoddy software to suffer with. Better to wait for something done well. Why shovel a half-baked cake out the door? Your software reflects your attitude, and it's old, old news. I haven't tryed ANY xxxIt! plugin that wasn't buggy, over the entire time I've been playing AC (2001).

Maybe a better name for your next plugin is TossIt!

If you prefer to wait, then why are you running Make It? Or, does this statement have the same level of veracity as your statement about the anti-logout messages getting you banned?

Please, save yourself the hassle. Uninstall all my plugins. Chances are you are using them in violation of EULA anyway so do us all a favor.

Also, Decal is also far from bug-free and not ready for release. I strongly recommend you uninstall it too so that you don't end up being either a hypocrit or liar about what you 'prefer'.

Thank you, Gouru, although I'm not sure how that ReadMe note applies? Are you saying that if I have a stack of 100 oils and will only need MakeIt to use 40 of those, I still need to split the stack of 100?

Also, you should ignore Chazcon as most of us do. He is well on his way to alienating at least 90% of the server population, so no doubt he has decided to add Decal and plugin developers to his list. happy

Make It! cannot use two oils from the same stack, so by splitting it into two stacks, Make It! can pick one from each stack to combine. This is the fix I made recently to allow combining of oils. It will still only make the number of items you requested.

This applies ONLY when you have premade oils. If Make It! is starting from chorizite powder, it automatically keeps the oils separate so that they can be combined.
