Hi there. I am looking for a buff program other than EL Tank. I am looking for something like Nerfus Buffus, or Infinity before ToD. If anyone knows of one I would appreciate the URL to it.

Buffme is a good buffing plugin.
Creating your own profiles is a little tedious. Not quite as simple as Nerfus Buffus IMO.

Just so people know, Castaway can do this but it won't buff your weapons/shield. Have to do that by hand still. That said, I use Castaway from my self-buffign.

set up your buffs in order then just start at the front and work your way to the end... voila!

God Drakier i didn't know you were so "Whitty" Is that how you brits say it? So I understand there is nothing except Decal in the 'Bloody' game.... Or are the other ones secret since they are considered macroer programs?
I have to say Decal has killed the game for the population that cannot use the heavily loaded 'FAT' programs that only the newest computers can run with the 2 gig of memory.
So no dubt I will be using my spell bars.

2 year old computer, 512MB of RAM. Running AC-ToD, Decal, and dual logging. As long as I don't use the high-res graphics while dual logging, no issues.

1) I'm not British
2) my computer is approximately 3 years old. It can run AC with Decal fine.. it even works Dual Logged (although admittedly, I do not actually play actively on both at the same time since I only use ACDualClient for muling and trading).
I don't know what your issues are, but perhaps you're looking at it incorrectly. There is plenty in game to do even if you don't use Decal.. there are many people who don't, and they'll probably continue not doing so. How much do you actually know about computers and how they work?

I could be wrong but my understanding was that decal's memory use issues were related to the current view & hud implementation. Not to mention that ToD is just a big memory hog in general. I think the decal devs are still working on their side of the issue to make it better and it's probably one of the reasons decal is still considered alpha. So in truth, the problem is not exactly that decal is "fat" but some plugins which use a lot of screen real estate are "fat".
While I'm sure it's frustrating for people who can't get their favorite plugins to work correctly I think it is unfair to place the blame at the feet of the decal devs. They have always said to expect problems and if you can't handle that then you should wait. Nor can you blame the plugin devs who may have hundreds of hours invested in an existing rich plugin UI. It is unfair to ask a plugin dev to rewrite a giant section of code just to support a minority of users who have issues only until the underlying problem in decal has been addressed.
That leaves you to blame. You either...
a) can't afford or won't buy a new machine
b) are unwilling to choose a lighter set of plugins
c) are incapable of writing your own plugins which may or may not run on your old machine
d) are unwilling to wait paitiently for decal to at least hit beta
e) just want to complain
I'm guessing all of the above.

When in doubt always blame the user. Why should I have to use only Decal, who made decal the 1 horse 3rd party application only available. Yes, it is unfair, and there is nothing I can do about it. Maybe Ac will be dead by the time the big issues are figured out.
Yes, I do play without plugins, I do buff self. But admittedly, I like to be lazy sometimes and not get joint disease so early in my hands and arms. Sure I have the choice to play or not.
No sense discussing with anyone here on theis board becuase you only have 1 view and that is decal and everything else is bad or macro program.
I guess Dracier has sunk low to baiting instead of logic and reason as other people do.

When did I ever say that Decal is the only option?
You can certainly play without Decal, and I believe I actually made a large point about that in my post. If you don't like Decal, then play without it.. it doesn't bother me any. I couldn't care less whether you liked Decal or not.
and when did I bait? I was simply inquiring how much you know about computers.. seems that the ones who complain the loudest and make the biggest fuss, are also the ones that tend to not be as knowledgable about what they are complaining about.
You see.. Decal is slow for a number of reasons... mainly because it was written for a quite older version of DirectX. With AC:ToD, DirectX went to DX9.0 which changed a LOT in how Decal can draw onscreen and interact visually with the game. In addition to that, it also HEAVILY increased the load on the Video RAM. Decal Developers are working on trying to get this changed (as previously said) but it's not something that is easy to do, or can be done overnight. the WHOLE Decal System is built on the rendering core.
If you don't like Decal or are not able to get a computer that can run it, I'm sorry.. I really am. Fortunately for me, that isn't my problem. Unfortunately for you, it is your problem.
If it is the PLUGINS themselves that are causing the problems for you, try running more light-weight plugins. AKA, rather than running ELTank just so you can get Item Finding abilities, try running FindIt! There ARE alternatives to many of the plugins out there currently... just have to find them or ask.
