Welcome to the Vault Network
forum archive.
This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the
opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards
deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least
20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per
page).
Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50
topics per page, while others deemed of historical
signifigance may be archived in their entirety.
We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but
we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in
lieu of that.

Plugin Request - "Major Excitement" , number 2 :-)

Hi All;
Anyone intrested in making a plugin that does nothing but detect Majors and Rares (Excluding Major Mana Stones) :-)
I am not really after all the overhead most detection plugins have I just want a plugin that detects Majors and Rares and plays a warning sound, thats it :-)

The problem is that to detect majors, you have to ID every single item that could have spells on it. Once you do that, you pretty much have the same overhead as all the other detection plugins.

By overhead I meant all the other bells and whisltes that most detection plugins have which I don't want.
Id be happy with a Plugin with 3 check boxes.
[] Detect Majors
[] Detect Rares
[] Play Sounds on Detection of Major or Rare with the option to specifiy the WAV to be used if possible.

Picking up majors?? Who would want to do that? Hehehe. Although it seems that I leave or drop about half of the majors I find anymore (Loot gods are giggling).
