This version adds variables to doactions. So, if you want to output something based on the pattern you matched, you can now do that. For instance, if your rule was

Bob says, "*"

and then you had the action

HAHA BOB SAID $1!

and you got the chat

Bob says, "Stuff"

then your character would say

HAHA BOB SAID Stuff!

I know this thread is extremely old, I just figured it would be a good place to ask my question without making a new thread:

Is there any way I could get this to respond to text, no matter what the capitalization is? If I have it set to watch for

Bob says, "*"

but instead,

BOB says, "*"

The plugin wont do anything. I'd like to work work no matter how the text is capitalized. Bob says, BOB says, BoB says, etc.

EDIT:
By the way, now that turbine (or the decal devs) removed decals ability to see the codes that make things like people's names show up green and clickable, this plugin is a lot more user friendly. It will now work perfectly fine if you use filters like:

* says, "Hi"
instead of
<*>*<*> says, "Hi"
