Subject: ELTank 2.6.0.20-Beta-5e Released!
Release V 2.6.0.20-Beta-5e Released on 14th of January 2006


FIXES:

1. Fixed melee modes going back to combat after buffing.
2. Fixed the saving of the Defender setting on the Item/Lifes tab.
3. The Tinkerbot should now be able to deal with customers that go too fast.
4. Fixed Melee Peace Mode. It now obeys the setting under recharge as before.
5. Resolved the Salvaging/USTing conflict that was introduced in the last version (stopped looting and USTing and following).
6. UST no longer USTS Name matches if they are also a Salvage match.
7. Fixed the error that caused Housing Crystals to be set as a shield.
8. Fixed the Bug where it would stop looting Items if it failed to re-open a corpse to loot.

NEW FEATURES/CHANGES:

1. Hotkeys will no longer accept ALT or CTRL (caused too many problems).
2. The SmartCaster Tab will now show the alphanumeric keys you have set for each function.
3. Added a check box so you can set wands to only be buffed when you wield them (instead of buffing all wands in the list).
4. The TinkerBot will now tell you if it can't apply a material to an item (ie steel to covenant).
5. Many more GUI changes to reduce the graphics load on decal.
6. Combat Hotkeys now only trigger if in spellcasting mode.
7. Raised the Priority on 'Peace Mode' so it has a better chance of kicking in before looting.

Found one kinda small quirky little thing.

In my spell bars (hotkeys) I have vuln set as 7, bolt as 8, and arc as 9...etc. Every tab is exactly the same, except for the damage type. I set tank's SC the same way, vuln as 7, bolt as 8, and arc as nine.

Now with the smart caster on, if say I am on tab two (and using slash say), which is fire for me, the first spell smart casted is always a fire spell. If I am on tab 4 ( which is bludge for me) and targeting and using slash rend, the first spell is always a blyudgeon bolt or arc.

This happens anytime I cycle spells, like regenerating mana or heals and such. Not a huge deal, but a tad annoying and in a tight situation you gotta be able to drop stuff quickly and cannot waste a war spell. In the meanwhile, it's easy enough to simply switch my spell tabs to reflect the proper damage type.

Did you fix the spelling mistake on Mahogany?

when you ID something the salvage type for mahogany is spelt mahogony

Yes toshiro_hasagawa, but yours may still list it incorrectly. Check your Tracking.xml to make sure.


Krackcode, I'm guessing from your description that AC is catching the first cast and casting from your spellbar rather than ELTank getting it's off. I allow all keypresses to go through to the client as well so it will also proccess that key press.

You have to log in once and it wont. It auto updates the Decal entry when you log in, just in case I forget to do it in the installer.

That is somehwat correct. It's more of AC catching the keystroke first in that first instance(I guess). I can place a heal spell on spot #8 across all seven tabs, and if I have eltank set up as bolt for #8 it will cast a heal every first time through a cycle. Continous wars work fine though. I havn't had a problem with that, other then the first spell!

Doh never mind reread what you wrote, and you are spot on.

is it possible for someone to copie and paste their tracking xml file for me. my names list somehow got deleted but i liked having some of the old school names in the names list.

i didnt want delete eltank entirely then reinstall, i would have to reconfigure to many settings for all 50 of my toons and that takes to long, plus i am not sure the old school names list is still included with the new download...is there a way to just download the default tracking.xml file maybe, i dunno heh

i was also wondering if there is a way to make fellowship spells also cast in buffbot mode. so all the bots can buff each other happy

ElTank has stopped updating the HUD for XP and Components, suddenly at any time - usually pretty quick - The HUD stopped getting updated.

Closing the AC Client and restarting Decal fixes the problem for a very short time.

If when the HUDs stop getting updated you can drag them around, then thats an ELTank problem. If you CAN'T move them, then thats a install (decal/DirectX/Video Driver) problem.

Anyway to remove the creature window from the decal list? us melees have no use for it, or those that use tank just for tracking have no use for it.

I had a problem with the previous version that eltank removed sheild and weapon from melee tab after logging out and In again.

is this fixed??
