I just got this tonight. Its been driving me 100% nuts. I did everything short of a low level format (an I mean pretty much EVERYTHING), and yet I still can not get a single char in game with decal. It also spans multiple comps. But it works fine without decal. my chat windows were set up as thus:
Normal chat box: Game play, area, tells, allegiance, fellowship
Chat window 1: General, Trade, LFG
Chat window 2: Allegiance
Chat window 3: Fellowship
Chat window 4: General, looking for group, roleplay, trade
I had the chat window 1 (cg, ct an lfg), open an expanded to occupy the top part of teh screen from one side, over to the radar. Its height was equivilant to my radar.
I am going out of my friggin mind with how to fix this. For the love of god if you know how ta get this fixed please fill me in.

try clicking update and see what happens. an updated messages.xml was just posted and it might work for you.
or maybe not. but it's certainly worth a shot.

Sigh I really hope it fixes it  . Can not try atm cuase apparently there is some problem with the auth servers or whatnot. I keep hanging on the client file patching page . Worst part is that my OCC is gona keep me sittin here till I Get this junk fixed.

anybody else who's having problems with certain characters when the CharStats filter is enabled should also click update.

Rawr, thank you so much fer the info mate. Auth server came back an was able to log the char on. Now, after trouble shooting an helpin someone else with some decal stuff fer 4 hours, then trying to fix this fer the past.. sigh 4 hours.. I Can finnaly goto sleep  .

ok how about this, i cant get decal to show up ig, no clue why, i have uninstalled and reinstalled everyone many times
