Do you know where the Make It! install directory is?
Have you copied the fullrecipelist.xml file to that directory?
After having done so, have you tried the /mi file fullrecipelist.xml command?
Did you do it from inside the game, while Make It! was running? Make It! commands don't work if Make It! isn't running.

i dl and installed the new make it.
i read read me and extrated files with browse to guruware makeit in the c drive.
i coppied the command then logged on with make it running.
i pasted command in chatbar in game.
the recipies showed up but it wouldnt make anything,i relogged the toon and all the recipies were gone.

Make sure you have a window open that displays the Make It! messages (I believe they default to chatbox 1). Do you see any error messages when you try to install?
This could also be caused if you don't have msxml4, or if there is some kind of problem saving your configuration. Since the file command didn't 'stick' this seems the most likely to me.
And make sure that toon has the needed skills trained for whatever it is you're trying to make.

Downloaded fullrecipes file. Extracted to MakeIt! directory. Logged in with MakeIt running, cut and pasted the command from the readme, recieved a game error of "that's not a valid command." No errors showed in any chat windows. No recipes showed in MakeIt. Logged out, renamed original recipe file to recipe.bak, renamed fullrecipes to Recipe, logged back in, same issues. Currently deleting and reinstalling MakeIt and going to try adding the fullrecipe recipes (redundancy headache growing here) manually. *twitch*
Rebooted, had coffee, kicked the computer, etc....still working on it. But still an empty recipe folder and invalid command error.

Have you considered putting a link to all the minimum requirements on your site.. MakeIt! works on my other pc, but only cause I have all the minimum req's already loaded for other xml reliant plugins. I tried it on my main pc, and nothing came up. I copied the xml over to my other pc, and it worked great. The only thing I can think of, is the requirements to run your plugins.
other than the minimum req's... I find your plugins quite useful.

Yaroz, verify that you have MSXML4, this is the only requirement I can think of that might be affecting you. Since so many plugins required this version of MSXML, I don't really think of it as an 'additional' requirement.
Otherwise, search the acdev boards for info on how to create a Make It! logfile and I'll be happy to look at it for you. Someday I'll get that info on the website. Sure wish I liked working on websites more

Yeah.. I'm pretty sure I don't have xml4 stuff loaded. I'll do that sometime this weekend, and see if that fixes it. Then I can be making arrows on one pc, and beer on another.

Yes, it is there. I deleted MakeIt!, reinstalled, copied everything back over, received the same error. Turned the computer off, recited some interesting vulgarities, called you a few choice names, and took a break. Came back, booted, logged in to run a debugger....and it all works. I'm confused, but happy that it works now. Oh, and sorry about that comment about your second cousin's cow, Gouru. I didn't mean that one.

Or better yet, do us both a BIG favor, uninstall It! and go grab El Tank or some other program with a developer that is much more willing to put with idiots than I am.

If you look at this thread, and how I have responded to the questions people asked, the first was a quick 'just drop it in the folder' and i referred him to the fine directions that had more complete information. Others had problems getting the menus to appear, I worked with them to see if we could get it going, and I think was successful.
One person started out with a rant against me, and then asked me for help.
You will be happy to know that we both are now absolutely clear on where we stand with each other. He has agreed to keep stealing my software as a way to 'spit in my face', and I have let him know in clear terms what I think of his stance.
We can now continue with the regularly scheduled festivities.

Just to let you know, I just installed your Makeit plugin, and not to defend anyone or to take sides, but, when you install the msi thingy, there is no End User Agreement that shows up.
I didnt see one on your site, but then I, no excuse:), didn't look.... after posting this I will though

Thanks. It looks like when I changed compilers I somehow lost my License Agreements and Read Me! files. I have corrected it in the installer (as well as updated the wording to clarify questions people have asked). Yeah, if you're macroing rings, that counts. If you're casting them with keypresses you aren't macroing...

what about an "Ingredients" Hud?
/me ducks
you know.. something where you could click on a recipe and the HUD would update with the components needed, and the current count of each of those components.
Then you could even scroll through the recipes until you found one where you had all of the ingredients already.

Maybe not a HUD, but a Supplies view that given an a recipe choice and quantity, will show you what is needed and what you have.
Sounds kind of fun, I'll add it to my ToDo list.
Does this come before or after automatically buying ingredients if you are next to a merchant?
