Welcome to the Vault Network forum archive.

This is not a complete archive, time didn't allot us the opportunity to properly backup the majority of the boards deemed "expendable". Most boards on this list have at least 20-40 pages archived (non-logged in pages, 15 topics per page).

Popular boards may have as many as 250 pages archived at 50 topics per page, while others deemed of historical signifigance may be archived in their entirety.

We may not agree with how the board shutdown was managed, but we've done what we could to preserve some of its history in lieu of that.

	Ok so I just returned to AC last week in hopes of checking out the new Throne of Destiny content. I install the game ok and then proceed to locate decal and my favorite plugins. This is where things get a bit tricky. The last "release" version of Decal I can locate is version Decal 2.6.1.3. This version is no longer availabe for download on the decal site and after some searching I do manage to find and download it. However it does not work or even look like it can find the AC client. My guess is Throne of Destiny has something to do with this. The decal site says there is an Alpha4 version of decal available for download, but this version is supposed to be for developers only. It's stated many times over. There is an Alpha3 version available, this works fine with Tank but none of the other plugins I've tried seem to work with it. I've managed to get Find It! working with Alpha4 but Einstein It! will not work. When I go looking for UST, I find one website where there's a newer version which I cannot download because of a broken link to the zip file, and another site with older versions (do the people managing these sites even know about one another?). Tradebot also looks like it's got one foot in the grave as the Marketplace on all the servers are completely void of any tradebots, this is so depressing. So did I pick a bad time to return to AC? Or is there some mystical website out there which has a working version of decal with working plugin versions I can download and immediately use with Throne of Destiny? -----signature-----

	ToD broke decal badly. We're working on fixing it, but it takes a long time with all the changes. Decal is in Alpha as you saw, and ALL alpha versions are for developers only really, unless one of those developers invites you to help them test their plugin. If you were not invited, then you really run them at your own risk with the funn understanding that you will most likely not get any help or support if things don't work properly. If you want support, find the appropriate board for it. If you're seeking ELTank support, then try the ELTank forums. If you want Decal Support (/me laughs hysterically then regains his composure) then you can attempt the ACDev Decal forums, but I'd highly highly recommend reading all the sticky threads first to save yourself a lot of time and hardship. If the plugin you're looking for getting support for does not HAVE a forum for itself, then post here, but he SURE that the question hasn't already been asked. Do some research.. ask well thought out and researched questions, and provide AMPLE data about the problem (once again, read the stickies if you haven't already). -----signature-----
